Skin Cancer Detection Using Image Classification in Deep Learning D. Prasanna, R. Manishvarma 3rd International Conference on Integrated Circuits and Communication Systems Icicacs 2025, 2025 The understanding of deep learning in skin cancer results in a dependable and faster method to diagnose malignant skin lesions at an initial stage. To improve the accuracy of detection, this research uses a number of steps in its methodology. First, we apply the Weiner filter to smooth the input images, minimizing the noise effects and improving the overall image quality. The next step is to use Adaptive Histogram Equalization (AHE) because it enhances the contrast of the image and thus helps in feature extraction. The feature selection process is accomplished through an Autoencoder that decreases dimensionality while preserving essential data characteristics. Finally, classification is executed using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), which performs inadequately for pattern recognition in medical images. The model shows a high accuracy of 96.3%, reflecting its effectiveness in diagnosing skin cancer. Such high accuracy proves the effective applicability of the proposed method as a diagnostic aid to dermatologists for timely and efficient reactions. Future works will emphasize external validity and thereby set the system into real practice settings.
Content based Image Retrieval and Disease Prediction using Deep Learning Algorithms D.Prasanna, A. Kalaiyarasan Proceedings of 5th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing and Intelligent Information Systems Icuis 2025, 2025 Recent medical research indicates that most people worldwide are affected by various lung diseases. This paper proposes a novel Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture, termed XLG Cancer Net, for accurate identification of lung diseases. The Lung image MRI dataset and the initial Gaussian filter preprocessing eliminate noise and improve the quality of the input dataset's pixels. The Swin-Net segmentation specifically separated the number of clusters to identify the affected region and its shape, including thickness and external area, as well as the inner and outer layers. From that, Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) feature extraction specifically analyses the same features and eliminates irrelevant ones, and each feature is validated based on performance metrics. The technical output from the XLG Cancer Net classifies lung diseases, including large cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and Adenocarcinoma. The results show an Accuracy of 96%, a precision of 95%, a recall of 95%, and an error rate analysis, while simultaneously minimizing the false ratio, and it applies to a real-time medical application.
Cloud based Automatically Human Document Authentication Processes for Secured System D. Prasanna, N.Aashiq Ahamed, S. Abinesh, G. Karthikeyan, R. Inbatamilan 2nd IEEE International Conference on Integrated Intelligence and Communication Systems Iciics 2024, 2024 Ensuring that document authentication is safe and secure is a significant problem in contemporary cloud systems. To resolve this problem, a cloud-based automatic document authentication process in secured systems using the Risk Based Authentication (RBA) approach has been developed. The proposed system passes through three primary phases to maintain credible levels of security. First, the PKG method produces private keys for a user to achieve the goals of privacy and integrity. Second, the RBA method supports the authentication process, applying appropriate authentication management that depends on the user's risk profile and behavioral pattern. Finally, to protect data during transmission from external interference, the RSA encryption-decryption method ensures that data arrives in its original form without interference. This multiple approach to enhancing security performance is far better than the previous methods. The proposed system resource that hosts the system achieves a security performance of 95.7%
Twitter Media Sentiment Analysis to Convert Non-Informative to Informative Using QER C. P. Thamil Selvi, P. Muneeshwari, K. Selvasheela, D. Prasanna Intelligent Automation and Soft Computing, 2023 The term sentiment analysis deals with sentiment classification based on the review made by the user in a social network. The sentiment classification accuracy is evaluated using various selection methods, especially those that deal with algorithm selection. In this work, every sentiment received through user expressions is ranked in order to categorise sentiments as informative and non-informative. In order to do so, the work focus on Query Expansion Ranking (QER) algorithm that takes user text as input and process for sentiment analysis and finally produces the results as informative or non-informative. The challenge is to convert non-informative into informative using the concepts of classifiers like Bayes multinomial, entropy modelling along with the traditional sentimental analysis algorithm like Support Vector Machine (SVM) and decision trees. The work also addresses simulated annealing along with QER to classify data based on sentiment analysis. As the input volume is very fast, the work also addresses the concept of big data for information retrieval and processing. The result comparison shows that the QER algorithm proved to be versatile when compared with the result of SVM. This work uses Twitter user comments for evaluating sentiment analysis.
Data mining approach: Distribution of retinal plasma liner handling image processing for automated retinal analysis M. Kannan, D. Prasanna Indian Journal of Public Health Research and Development, 2018 Computed Aided Diagnosis (CAD) methods are highly used by the medical professionals in the field of medical image analysis. Many retinal diseases like retinopathy, occlusion etc. are identified through the changes occur in the retinal vasculature of fundus images. Detection of glaucoma at early stages is essential to avoid the sight-threatening retinal disease. In this paper, the data mining techniques based on retinal image analysis by means of blood vessel segmentation done by the image processing method is discussed in this paper. the work involves the steps like channel separation from the input images and the optic Disc (oD) segmentation by means of the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) algorithm, followed by the extraction of features from the segmented images. Now the data mining steps like feature selection and the classification process are done by using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classifier is expressed. The performance accuracy of glaucoma detection is obtained at the maximum of 97.2%.
