Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Communication and Electronics Systems Icces 2024, 2024
In recent years, there has an exponential growth in every industry, and everyone needs to analyze the current as well as future market trends using machine learning models. This proposed work discusses the sales carried out in a year for every month. use various algorithms to analyze the best fitting model in producing better accuracy in predicting future sales for the company. In this work, machine learning models like, Long Short Term Memory (LSTM), decision trees, and linear regression, were applied for prediction. Based on the comparison of these models in various aspects, LSTM produces the best outcome with respect to some evaluation metrics.

2017 4th International Conference on Signal Processing Communication and Networking Icscn 2017, 2017
In crowded scene abnormal event detection is a major issue. Many existing methods are there. Abnormal events are those which cannot be well represented. For example, if a flight is hijacked or it is damaged, it is due to some abnormal activities. Abnormal activities may occur due to human intervention or due to some weather conditions. So in this system we are using abnormal detector to detect the events. Abnormal patterns are extracted from incoming events. The major contribution to this paper are: 1) In this abnormal detector is used to identify abnormal events. In this complexity is high in video events due to the presence of noise. By using mixture of Gaussian interference can be avoided. 2) In this, we are using Gaussian Mixture Model to reduce interference. Even though the method has high complexity. 3) Unusually normal events occur in testing videos which differ from training once this is due to existence of abnormalities. They presented as an online updating strategy is proposed to cover these cases in normal patterns as a result, it mostly eliminates false detections. Effectiveness of the proposed algorithm Is verified by using state of the art.
  • An UWB radar signal processing platform for real- time human breathing feature extraction
    A. Rajiv, B. Joicedayanastephy, R. Rajalakshmi
Indian Journal of Science and Technology, 2016
Background/Objectives: To evacuate trapped victims in complex environment with the help of UWB to detect the victim whether injured or not even before evacuation. Methods/Statistical Analysis: UWB system was used for sensing the breathing activity. In this process, the primary issue is the definition of design constraints about the signal processing waveform to transmit, correctly for the concerned algorithms for retrieving the breathing frequency and waveform precisely even in worst environment noise. Findings: The observation made from this study showed that more bitwise linear characteristic produced by the captured radar breathing signals than sinusoidal characteristics. Applications/ Improvements: The proposed system helps to find the status of the victim whether dead or alive; healthy or injured. Keywords: Biomedical Measurement, Bio Medical Signal Processing, Four Segment Linear Waveform, Piece Wise Linear Approximation, UWB Radar Tranceivers
  • Comparison of fast radix 2 ACS with adaptive fast radix 2 ACS in Viterbi Decoder
    N. D. Bobby, S. K. Srivatsa, L. Kishore, A. Rajiv, S. S. Suresh
2013 International Conference on Emerging Trends in VLSI Embedded System Nano Electronics and Telecommunication System Icevent 2013, 2013
Adaptive Viterbi decoder is used for decoding codes of long constraint length, where as viterbi decoder is used for decoding short constraint lengths. In order to minimize power consumption and BER, we have implemented FastRadix 2 ACS in Viterbi decoder and Adaptive Viterbi decoder. The area consumption was more in Viterbi compared to Adaptive Viterbi decoder. But the power utilization reduced drastically to 20% where as in Viterbi decoder the power consumed was 80%. In our previous work we have implemented Adaptive fast ACS, Adaptive Radix2 acs in Viterbi decoder. But the experimental result proves power consumption is less in Adaptive FastRadix 2 ACS in Viterbi decoder than FastRadix 2 ACS in Viterbi decoder.
