Dr RAMUDU JUJJUVARAPU
Dr. J. Ramudu Jujjuvarapu, M.Sc., B.Ed., NET, Ph.D, is currently serving as the Head and Incharge of the Department of Botany at Dr. Lakireddy Hanimireddy Government Degree College, Mylavaram, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh. He obtained his Ph.D. in Botany from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2015 and qualified ASRB NET (Plant Physiology) conducted by ICAR, New Delhi in 2017. He also qualified APSET in Life Sciences in the years 2012, 2017, and 2018. He completed his M.Sc. in Botany from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2008 with University 2nd Rank, B.Ed. from Andhra University in 2005, and B.Sc. (CBZ) from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2003.
Dr. Ramudu has a total teaching experience of 15 years and Research experience of 13 years He served as Post Graduate Teacher in Botany at A.P. Model School, Maddulaparva, Reddygudem Mandal, NTR District from 2013 to 2018. He later worked as Lecturer in Botany at VSR Government Degree College, Movva, Krishna District from 2018 to 2021.

RESEARCH OUTPUTS (PATENTS, SOFTWARE, PUBLICATIONS, PRODUCTS)

Patents – Dr. J. Ramudu

Dr. J. Ramudu has significantly contributed to applied research and innovation in biotechnology and plant sciences, with six patents granted by The Patent Office, Government of India during 2024–2025. His research work spans diverse areas including bioremediation, molecular diagnostics, post-harvest technology, biochemical estimation, eco-friendly formulations, and herbal product development.

He is a co-inventor of a patented “Microbial Bioremediation Monitoring and Assessment Device” (Patent No. 429877-001; Awarded on 10.09.2024), which focuses on environmental monitoring and sustainable remediation techniques. He also contributed to the development of an “Origami-based Compact Electrophoresis Device for Determining DNA/RNA Molecules” (Awarded on 18.10.2024), an innovative, low-cost tool for molecular biology analysis.

In the field of agricultural biotechnology, he is associated with a patent on “A Formulation and Method for Preventing Post-Harvest Losses of Crops” (Awarded on 07.10.2024), addressing critical challenges in food preservation. Further, he has worked on a Henna-based formulation for detecting and estimating protein levels (Awarded on 20.06.2025), showcasing eco-friendly biochemical applications.

Dr. Ramudu has also contributed to applied life sciences through patents such as an “Insect Repellent Formulation using Sugarcane Dust” (Awarded on 20.06.2025), promoting sustainable and safe pest control methods, and a “Chitinase Formulated
