Dr. Reshma Kamble
Dr. Reshma Kamble is working as an Assistant Professor at the Center for Studies in Jainism, K. J. Somaiya Institute of Dharma Studies, since January 2024. She teaches Jainology, various ancient Prakrit dialects: Maharashtri, Ardhamagadhi, Sauraseni, Paishachi, Culika Paisachi, Apabramsha and Sanskrit language to various courses on the graduate and postgraduate level.

EDUCATION

She has completed a Ph.D. program at Mumbai University, under the guidance of Dr. Shakuntala Gawade, on the topic of "A comparative study of the role of Bhagavadgita and the Brahmakumaris principles in shaping personality development," in 2023. Reshma received her B.A. (Sanskrit) degree and M.A. (Sanskrit) degree from University of Mumbai and M.A. (Jainology and Prakrit) degree from Mohanlala Sukhadia University - Udaipur. She qualified for the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professorship) for Prakrit language in year 2023 and SET (State Eligibility test for Assistant Professorship) for Sanskrit language in 2015.
