  • Triangular Fuzzy Assignment Problems for Solving Amalgamated Computing System
Anju Khandelwal, Avanish Kumar, and Mani Gupta

    IEEE
Assignment problem (AP) has various claims in the physical ecosphere. They are used in solving problems in engineering, commerce, management science and many more. For real life assignment problems use of fuzzy assignment problems are more appropriate than the traditional classical assignment problems. Fuzzy sets were presented by Lofti A. Zadeh in 1965 as an extension of representing imprecision or elusiveness in routine life. In this paper, the fuzzy assignment problem (FAP) with triangular fuzzy number is articulated to crisp AP using weighted sum procedure and then improved assignment method has been used to find an optimal solution. Here we have solved several examples and found better optimal solution as compared to other existing techniques. Also, comparative analysis is discussed between the proposed technique and existing techniques.

  • Evaluation of Service Time in DCS using Fuzzy and Clustering Technique
    Anju Khandelwal and Avanish Kumar

    IEEE
Because of the constant development in information expertise and soft computing technology, Distributed Computing System (DCS) has become most demandable areas of research at present. DCS have the capability to improve performance and share resources. It consists of a limited register nodes that make messages communicable to each other through a transient structure. The development of novel technologies in information technology and communication technology leads to growth of DC systems. Task assignment is the critical process underlying DCS’s. For appropriate use of the accessible computation power, tasks are thus required to be allocated to processors whose characteristics remain quite suitable for implementation on that processor. This paper examine a task assignment problem with fuzzy task and communication time i.e. FET and FCT, which is naturally more real and common. Because fuzzy execution time is impure, it has been renewed to a crisp number using the appropriate ranking method. In this research paper, the optimal impedance time of the system is achieved by the optimal assignment of functions based on the processor speed to the triangular FET and the triangular FCT. Here a serviceable model is developed using the K-means clustering technique for optimal impedance time. This research paper is an extension of reference [1] in which the task is linked to a fuzzy linked array to obtain the optimal value of the functions.

  • Framework and evolution of task orientation using fuzzy and GA

The process of selecting employees in any organization is done by mostly old ways. There is a lack of hypothetical support in this method, and error is possible in the result. In the research paper presented, we have outlined the recruitment and selection process of employees with the help of Fuzzy Triangular Number. The selection process given here is completely different from the methods given earlier. To find the ideal employee here, we use the modified method of solving assignment problem. Using certain linguistic variables, we use robust ranking method here. The solution obtained from this method is minimized using the revised approach of assignment. This modified approach is simpler than the Hungarian method previously used by other authors. Using this modified solution, the minimum solution is achieved by reducing the number of recurring assignments. After assignment process, finally selection of employees is given using criterion of GA.

  • Delay skew reduction in Io glitch filter
    Kiran Gopal and K. Avanish

    IEEE
Glitch filtering is an integral part of digital input signal conditioning. Filtering introduces delays in the system. Mismatches in rise and fall delay of the filter causes duty cycle distortion in the input resulting in system failure. A timing failure occurred in a product fabricated in CMOS 140nm TSMC process due to delay mismatch in IO glitch filter. A failure analysis is done and capacitor asymmetry at low voltage is found to be the root cause of delay mismatch. Drive transistor DC mismatch and output inverter threshold asymmetry were also contributing factors. The reasons of delay mismatch are analyzed and the steps taken to solve them are described in this paper

  • Performance evolution in distributed real-time system under dynamic load sharing scheme
Urmani Kaushal, Avanish Kumar, and Narendra Kumar

    IEEE
Distributed Real-Time System [DRTS] is a prodigious platform for high performance parallel applications. The Performance of the system can be amended by using the policies of dynamic load sharing. Allocation of parallel application's tasks under load sharing schemes had increased the performance of the system. Task allocation is NP-hard or NP-complete problem. The new heuristic has been deployed in this paper. In the suggested model the limitation of memory and the number of tasks allowed over the processor has been considered. At the time of allocation, the above constraint has been checked and fulfilled. In the proposed model clustering has been done at two levels. For clustering task k-mean clustering has been used and MATLAB 7.11.0 has been used to simulate the proposed model.
