Dr. Roopa Rao is affiliated to College of Home Science Nirmala Niketan (Affiliated to the University of Mumbai) since 2008. She has 23+ years of teaching at the UG & PG level and is currently an Assistant Professor. She is a member of the Board of Studies for Resource Management & Hospitality Studies. She
has authored 5 ISBN books. Aided by her expertise in Ergonomics she has to her credit more than 30 research papers, posters and publications at the State, National and International level, in the area of Ergonomics, Consumerism, Occupational Health. She has associated herself as a member of multiple organizations - Indian Society for Ergonomics (ISE), Indian Association of Occupational Health (IAOH), Home Science Association of India (HSAI), Consumer Guidance Society of India (CGSI), Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP), Indian Association for Women’s Studies (IAWS) and Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP)
