Sensors, actuators, and control mechanisms that are man- aged by embedded computational and communication resources enable these systems to communicate with the real world in a range of applications, including smart grids, healthcare monitoring, transportation networks, and industrial automation. Because of their intrinsic interconnectedness and complexity, CPS are extremely vulnerable to different types of cyberattacks, which can negatively affect their dependability, security, and performance. Such attacks are common, which emphasizes how urgently we need sophisticated security solutions that can protect these essential systems. This study looks into the impact of simultaneous cyberattacks on CPS, investigating attack techniques such as remote hijacking, MitM attack, and DDoS, along with any possible repercussions. We assess how well the Sequential Monte Carlo Probability Hypothesis Density (SMCPHD) filter of the Random Finite Set (RFS) theory framework detects and mitigates these risks. By analyzing the time complexity and memory utilization of a parallel batch computing strategy in comparison to conventional sequential alternatives. The outcomes demonstrate significant decreases in processing time while maintaining effective memory use, providing a strong remedy for improving CPS security against several simultaneous attacks. Suganthi, Madan Mohanrao Mohanrao Jagtap Integrating Intelligent Control Systems with Sensor Technologies, 2025 This chapter discusses how IoT and remote sensing are revolutionalising precision agriculture through the provision of real-time information to inform the management of crops and other resources. Specifically, this chapter explores the main technologies with focus on how they have been adopted within contemporary agriculture production systems. New technologies like, IoT sensors, satellite, UAVs, and LiDAR are helping farmers to keep an eye on the condition of the soil, status of crops, and the prevailing weather condition at a given time; in this way productivity is increased, resources are not wasted, and the environment is kept sustainable. The chapter discusses these technologies from a developmental perspective, from the early rudimentary uses to the sophisticated types of the current generation and then show how these technologies can transform farming. However, the prospective of applying big data has its limitations; they include the following: high initial costs, data integration problems and limited technological access in developing regions.
Enhancing Antenna Array Fault Detection Using Regularized Logistic Regression Techniques Muthuswamy Jayanthi, Sajja Suneel, Manish Gupta, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Mohammed Wael Mohammed Proceedings International Conference on Next Generation Communication and Information Processing Incip 2025, 2025 The current generation communication systems can hardly afford faulty antenna arrays, let alone reliable ones, since even negligible flaws can signification affect the performance of such systems. This research proposes a new method in antenna array fault detection and diagnosis, which employs the tools of regularized logistic regression. More precisely, L1 (Lasso) and L2 (Ridge) penalties of the regularized learning algorithms are used to increase the detection accuracy and, at the same time, to decrease the level of overfitting significantly. The proposed methodology relies on a large dataset that covers possible fault conditions, including many environmental and operational factors. Sophisticated approaches are used to document significant signal properties; step by step hyperparameter optimization is carried out to enhance the performance of the logistic regression models. The experimental findings show that by applying regularized logistic regression to the fault detection criterion, much higher accuracy and fault classification robustness can be obtained compared to the traditional fault detection methods. L1 and L2 regularization are also helpful to increase the model's ability for prediction and simultaneously, they also help in understanding the significance of various features in answering to the problem in question. The findings of this research work will create the basis for the adaptation of time-based fault detection and diagnosis schemes that can adequately function in various settings, which will further guarantee the dependability as well as efficacy of antenna arrays in crucial communication networks.
