Design of Energy Efficient Hybrid Full Adder in 18nm FinFET for DSP Arithmetic Operations Paul Vinod Kumar Midde, K. The design employs the XNOR driven pass-transistor SUM generator integrated with a transmission-gate assisted carry path resulting in a reduction of switching capacitance and a mitigation of the degradation of the slew typically found in PTL based structures. Simulation results show that the proposed cell produces 741.7 nW of power dissipation and a 3.368 ps delay at 0.8 V (TT) resulting in a power-delay product of 2.498 fJ, which is 30-45% less than the recently reported hybrid/PTL adders. Full swing operation is validated both during full swing PVT sweeps. These results not only show that the obtained improvement is architecture motivated but also show the feasibility of the proposed hybrid full adder for ultralow-power DSP pipelines at deep-sub-20nm nodes.

Selvakumarasamy Proceedings of the 2026 6th International Conference on Image Processing and Capsule Networks Icipcn 2026, 2026 Smart grids Photovoltaic (PV) systems need an efficient conversion of various powers when the environment varies. The available approaches, e.g. traditional PSO and GA-based optimizations, are slow to converge, traps in local optima, and are not very adaptable to various irradiance and temperature. This paper will present a quantum-inspired meta-physics optimization algorithm of dynamic DC-DC buck-boost converter sizing, combining quantum bits in the probabilistic search of the search problem with adaptive rotation gates in the global convergence of the problem. It consists of the methodology of PV parameters correction, computing the power, converter modeling, and an iterative optimization based on the Quantum-Inspired Population Optimization (QIPO) algorithm. The concept was applied to MATLAB/Simulink with Kaggle Solar Panel PV System dataset. It has been demonstrated that performance appraisal indicates high efficiency of converters (96.7%), low power losses (3.2 W), and low voltage ripple (0.45 V) and quick convergence. The suggested solution has exhibited improved energy conversion, dependable voltage regulation, and low-cost operation of PV systems, which is a viable solution in the context of smart grid.

Selvakumarasamy 2026 6th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Computing Communications and Sustainable Technologies Icaect 2026, 2026 In fast-moving business environments, timely and reliable service delivery is required, although the traditional methods of verification are seldom accountable and transparent. Veritime addresses these issues through an automated verification system based on blockchain, smart contracts, and IoT sensors. It enables secure delivery verification, automated payment upon successful delivery, and real-time tracking of shipment by using cryptographic passphrases from Ethereum contracts and IoT-enabled containers. The key elements in Veritime involve the sender, receiver, blockchain network, IoT sensors, and the MQTT server. Developed in Python, Veritime topped the benchmark for performance and delay in power efficiency and packet delivery compared to traditional systems. Gas cost analysis showed that functions like “Register Manufacturer” and “Assign Distributor” consume 47,335 and 56,789 transaction gas, confirming the efficiency and reliability of the system.

Existing methods are either centralized in nature or lack scalability or have lightweight security and real-time responsiveness and therefore cannot be used in dynamic field environments. In this paper, a new ACO-Fuzzy-ECC hybrid protocol is introduced that incorporates the adaptive routing algorithm using the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm, local decision-making using Fuzzy Inference Systems, and the secure communication algorithm using the Elliptic Curve Cryptography algorithm. The new system enables every IoT node to sense, make decisions, encrypt and transfer data independently and efficiently without the help of a central coordination. The protocol was written in Python and simulated by comparing its performance with AODV and LEACH. The various node densities have recorded performance improvements in Packet Delivery Ratio, energy efficiency and lifetime of the network. The framework offers an intelligent, scalable, and powerful solution to control IoT in agricultural fields with real-time flexibility and low computational burdens.
Cognitive Metaphors and Conceptual Mappings in Figurative and Conventionalized English Expressions a Linguistic and Psycholinguistic Study Shagufta Parween, Neha Jain, Neelima Srivastava, M.G. Selvakumarasamy 2026 6th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Computing Communications and Sustainable Technologies Icaect 2026, 2026 The conceptual and linguistic properties of figurative and conventionalized metaphors in English, and incorporates the conceptual knowledge of cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics and computational analysis. With the Kaggle Metaphor Detection VUA-WSD Augmented Dataset, one can classify metaphors as either figurative or conventionalized to analyze variations in conceptual mapping diversity, frequency and interpretive complexity. It has been found that figurative metaphors have more diversity in terms of source-target domain mappings, are more creative and novel, whereas conventionalized metaphors are more frequent and processed with reduced cognitive effort because of their established use. Significant differences between the two types are statistically proved by using Chi-square and t-tests, which proves the role of metaphor as a linguistic and cognitive phenomenon. The results are applicable to both language teaching and improving awareness of metaphorical patterns and to computational linguistics, by improving NLP-based metaphor detection systems. Also, it is psycholinguistics, which shows an effect of the type of metaphor on cognitive processing and gives guidance on future experimental verification and cross-linguistic research.
Facial Image-Based Autism Detection Using A CNN-Extracted Feature Ensemble with Random Forest Classification V. Krishnamoorthy, Cuddapah Anitha, Swathy V, M. Indirani, G. Sasi, K. Selvakumarasamy International Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, 2025 For effective care and attention, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) must be identified early and This study suggests a hybrid model that blends convolutional neural networks (CNN) and random forest (RF) classifiers. The proposed model had a high classification accuracy of 91.3%, demonstrating its ability to reliably detect cases of ASD. With a precision of 90.7%, the model effectively reduces false positives, and its 89.5% recall ensures excellent sensitivity to actual ASD patients. The balanced F1-Score of 90.1% shows that the model performs consistently in terms of both precision and recall. Additionally, the model's Area Under the Curve (AUC) score of 0.94 indicates its exceptional ability to discriminate between ASD and non-ASD classes. All of these results demonstrate the Hybrid CNN + RF model's strength and dependability, which makes it a promising non-invasive technique for early facial feature-based ASD screening.
