Engineering Technology and Applied Science Research, 2026
In order to avoid detection, modern phishing assaults use techniques such as dynamic HTML obfuscation and site mimicry. This study presents NetPhish-Mix, a powerful framework for detecting phishing attempts by combining the analysis of website structure, content, and design. The framework's HGT records the structural relationships between the various components, including domain, URL, and DOM nodes. In addition, the framework can retrieve visual semantics from page screenshots while considering the page layout thanks to a ViT. After temperature calibration, a gated late-fusion procedure modifies the contributions of both modalities as needed to generate trustworthy confidence estimations. The results show significant generalization when tested on distinct and previously withheld datasets, achieving an F1-score of 0.977, an ROC-AUC of 0.997, and a less than 1% false positive rate. The proposed NetPhish-Mix model consistently makes the correct decision in tests that include URL homoglyphs, additional characters in subdomains, and poor images, making it a reliable, easy-to-understand, and practical security automation solution that can identify and stop phishing attempts.

This research introduces a new analytical model that studies the effect of ferro-dielectric on the operational performance of TFETs doped with halogens. The effect of source and drain depletions, voltage-drain & gate, thickness and capacitance of gate insulator are all investigated in this study. Accurate measurements of the surface potential are required to ascertain the transconductance, gate-to-drain capacitance, and lateral electric field of the device. Our model, which employs Ferroelectric Halo-Doped double gate (FHDD)-gated device designs, has been demonstrated to produce results that nearly match those produced from TCAD simulations. This was accomplished by doing a comparative analysis of the outcomes derived from both sets of simulations. Furthermore, the performance of the suggested structure of TFET, which integrates a dielectric of Fe and GaN heterostructure, surpasses that of other similar devices (fT) in terms of ON current, ON/OFF ratio, transconductance, and cut-off frequency. A ferroelectric dielectric was used to create a ferroelectric heterostructure. This study also centers on the creation and application of a graphene nanoribbon field effect transistor (GNR-TFET) to detect sugar molecules, specifically fructose, xylose, and glucose. The detecting signal is generated by utilizing the fluctuation in the electrical current of the GNR-TFET caused by the presence of individual sugar molecules. The GNR-TFET exhibits noticeable variations in the density of states, transmission spectrum, and current when exposed to individual sugar molecules. The sensor under investigation is being developed and examined using a combination of semi-empirical modeling and non-equilibrium Green’s functional theory (SE + NEGF). According to the research, the modified GNR TFET has the ability to quickly and accurately detect individual sugar molecules in real-time.
  • Ergonomic Tremor Control Spoon for Parkinson Disorder
    R. Shreeshayana, Manjunath V Gudur, G. Ezhilarasan
2024 15th International Conference on Computing Communication and Networking Technologies Icccnt 2024, 2024
Parkinson’s disease is a neurological disorder, it occasionally begins with a barely perceptible tremor in just one hand and progresses gradually. It usually strikes the elderly and is caused by significant damage to nerve cells that impairs mobility and day-to-day activities. Initial symptoms may include involuntary tremors and shivering in the hands, making it difficult for the patient to do daily activities like eating from a bowl. With the help of the provided utensil, this work essentially provides a non-invasive method that enables the patient to consume the food. A working prototype for a stabilizing spoon was created with the goal of serving as a supplement for individuals who require aid when eating. The suggested system is constructed using sensor, Controller and actuator as a significant element. This was made feasible by the employment of a sensor that integrated accelerometers and gyroscopes to determine the direction and rate of tilt of the device’s handle. Two servo motors are set up orthogonal to one another to give two axes of freedom in order to develop a system The spoon was intended to maintain its utensil basin horizontal using this method. The work revealed that the spoon’s vertical and horizontal accelerations vary significantly depending on the type of food, with dry food showing a mean vertical acceleration of $15.1 \\mathrm{~m} / \\mathrm{s}^{2}$ and horizontal acceleration of $12.89 \\mathrm{~m} / \\mathrm{s}^{2}$, whereas wet food demonstrates higher variability in vertical acceleration (mean of $15.5 \\mathrm{~m} / \\mathrm{s}^{2}$) and lower mean horizontal acceleration $\\left(8.95 \\mathrm{~m} / \\mathrm{s}^{2}\\right.$). This indicates the spoon’s movement is more consistent with dry food and more erratic with wet food. The spoon is designed with precise dimensions $(27 \\mathrm{~cm}$ in length, 9 cm in width, and 1 mm in thickness) and a total weight of 130 gm, which are optimized for comfortable and effective use by Parkinson’s patients. The measurements ensure the spoon’s stability and usability.

    Proceedings IEEE 5th International Conference on Communication Computing and Industry 6 0 2024 C2i6 2024, 2024
Polymorphic viruses pose a significant challenge to traditional malware detection methods due to their ability to modify their code structure with each infection, effectively evading signature-based detection. This paper explores advanced malware detection methods tailored for identifying polymorphic viruses, focusing on the integration of machine learning, deep learning and hybrid approaches. Through a comprehensive analysis of static and dynamic features extracted from executables and URLs, this study employs classifiers such as Random Forests and Support Vector Machines (SVMs) to enhance detection accuracy. The SVM classifier demonstrated superior performance, achieving a detection accuracy of 96.23% compared to the 93.67% accuracy of the Random Forest classifier. This research highlights the potential of combining static and dynamic analysis with machine learning techniques to address the limitations of traditional methods, offering a robust framework for detecting and mitigating polymorphic and zero-day threats.

EEG signals, which show the electrical activity of the brain, are considered to be the most significant physiological signals in the diagnosis of epilepsy. Manual EEG signal interpretation, however, is labour-intensive, time-consuming, and prone to error. Automatic identification of epileptic focus using computer technology and signal processing has been developed as an adjunct diagnostic tool to improve the accuracy of epilepsy diagnosis and the success rate of epilepsy surgery. As a result, it is crucial to create a system that can swiftly tell apart ordinary EEG data from generalised and focal epileptic seizures. This study introduces a new technique for identifying the brain areas affected by focal and non-focal epilepsy, in order to help patients suffering from epilepsy resulting from abnormal brain electrical activity. The method employs a deep neural network and involves recording EEG signals from the brain, followed by decomposing them into sub-bands using the Fourier Decomposition Method. Next, features are calculated from each sub-band and a very effective features are analyzed further. The final classification of the EEG signals into focal and non-focal epilepsy is then performed. The system achieved the highest classification accuracy of $ 93.0\\%$ with the lowest training and validation loss of $ 4.3\\%$ and $ 13.3\\%$, respectively, when using 10 sub-bands. The lowest accuracy was $\\mathbf{9 0 . 0 \\%}$ with training and validation loss of $ 2.9\\%$ and $ 26.7\\%$, respectively, when using 20 sub-bands. Using the minimum of 5 sub-bands resulted in a classification accuracy of $ 92.0\\%$. The results obtained imply that the suggested approach may, in actual applications, prove to be a helpful tool for physicians in determining the cause of epilepsy.
  • Edge Intelligence for Traffic Flow Detection: A Deep Learning Approach
R Ranjitha, Pooja Ahuja, R Shreeshayana, D Anil
Iq Cchess 2023 2023 IEEE International Conference on Quantum Technologies Communications Computing Hardware and Embedded Systems Security, 2023
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are crucial for regulating public transportation, enhancing security, and addressing urban challenges. ITS offers smart guidance to mitigate traffic congestion, minimize environmental impact, and improve overall transport efficiency. In cloud-based ITS, traffic flow detection involves sending video data from edge devices to cloud data centers. However, this approach faces hurdles due to increased monitoring demands. To overcome this, a solution is proposed: employing deep learning on edge nodes. The approach includes a YOLOv4-based vehicle detection model, retrained for multi-object tracking using DeepSORT. Edge computing migrates and installs the detection and tracking systems, ensuring accurate performance at the edge. This approach optimizes traffic flow detection, addressing challenges faced by conventional cloud-based systems.
