ART CURATION ALGORITHMS: MACHINE LEARNING IN MUSEUM EDUCATION Pooja Goel, Bhavuk Samrat, Bhanu Juneja, Rutu Bhatt, Yashoda L, Soumitra Das Shodhkosh Journal of Visual and Performing Arts, 2025 This paper introduces a consolidated machine learning framework for adaptive art curation for improving museum education. It proposes a system that combines computer vision, natural language processing, recommendation algorithms, and multimodal fusion in order to interpret the works of art and curatorial metadata, and create custom learning pathways given to visitors. A mathematical model is used to formalize the representation of the artwork, the dynamics of visitor preferences, the computation of thematic similarity and the optimization of education, offering a constructed basis for the adaptive curation. The framework illustrates how machine learning can reveal relationships that are not obvious in a collection, promote more compelling interpretive stories and react to individual interests of the visitor in real-time. It further adds the explainability mechanisms and ethical constraints to guarantee the transparency, cultural sensitivity, and fairness in algorithmic recommendations. The findings point to the prospect of the ML-inspired curation to turn museums into a dynamic and learner-focused space but not eliminate the human curatorial skills but augment them. The research adds a practical and theoretically-based model for incorporating machine learning in museum education in an ethical and transparent way.
SMART PRINT MANAGEMENT USING PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS Soumitra Das, Charu Wadhwa, Aseem Aneja, Shikha Gupta, Rutu Bhatt, Madhur Grover Shodhkosh Journal of Visual and Performing Arts, 2025 This study is a proposal of a smart, foresight analytics-based Smart Print Management model that can maximize efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of enterprise print settings. The traditional print management systems are based on reactive operations and thus they have recurring device failures, consumable is used inefficiently and there is little visibility of the print behaviors. In order to seal these cracks, the suggested framework incorporates IoT-enabled telemetry, machine-learning-enabled forecasting, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection in order to make the print management an interactive and automatic decision-making infrastructure. The system gathers multi-modal data on heterogeneous printer fleets like print volumes, device health metrics and job-level logs and processes them in an effective data acquisition and preprocessing pipeline. LMST and print volume predictive models, random forest and XGBoost predictive models for failure prediction, autoencoders models to predict anomalies are used to analyze operational trends and predict future status. The experimental use of those models proves their ability to predict workload changes, reveal the earliest indicators of a device malfunctioning, and causes of abnormal printing behavior, which allows the routing of jobs automatically, routine maintenance, and notifications about security vulnerabilities. The results indicate that there were significant gains regarding continuity of operations, cost reduction, optimization of consumables, and performance in terms of sustainability. The paper concludes that predictive analytics will offer a substantial degree of responsiveness and resiliency of the print management infrastructure. The lines of the future research involve the study of federated learning, reinforcement learning coordination, and digital twin simulation to develop automation, scalability, and privacy of smart print ecosystems further.
A Relative Analysis of Enhanced Machine Learning Algorithm SVM & Decision Tree to Predict Smart Grid Stability V. Dharani, Srinivasa Varma, Sandeep Dwarkanath Pande, Soumitra Das, Sk Hasane Ahammad, Krunal Pawar 2025 IEEE International Conference on Blockchain and Distributed Systems Security Icbds 2025, 2025 The demand for electricity has been rapidly increasing nowadays. So, it is necessary to distribute power to consumers efficiently. Smart grids (SG) can reduce the losses in the distribution of power. To achieve accuracy, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning(ML) techniques are implemented widely. There is an evident need of analysing and comparing different algorithms and choose the most suitable one to relate for SGs. Several enhanced algorithms such as Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Baye's (NB), K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN), Logistic Regression (LR), Decision Tree (DT), Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) classifier, and Gradient Boosting (GB) are used for predicting the stability of SGs. In the proposed paper, a correlative exploration between DT and SVM has been focused formed on evaluation grades like precision and accuracy.

HVAC is ideally suited for large enterprises and organizations. This project will cover HVAC types, a variety of components, and their modelling. For efficient operation and cost effectiveness, a utility-focused control technique is provided. To demonstrate the performance of the system, a Prototype is proposed with the proposed control strategy. In order to demonstrate the business's efficacy, a cost-benefit analysis will also be conducted. Confusion matrix analysis reveals balanced classification of comfort states, ensuring reliability for real-time deployment; experimental results confirm stable performance with accuracy of 92.1%, precision of 90.5%, recall of 90.9%, and F1-score of 90.7%; and a cost-benefit analysis further validates its economic viability. This work helps close the gap between theoretical research and real-world applications by providing an approachable solution that combines environmental sustainability, economic efficiency, and ease of adoption.
Tracing the Journey of Soybeans: Implementing Blockchain in Agricultural Supply Chain Management Pragati Sambhaji Malusare, Soumitra Das 2024 IEEE 9th International Conference for Convergence in Technology I2ct 2024, 2024 Blockchain combines data management, networking, and cryptography to create a robust and efficient platform for transactions. Initially designed for digital currencies, blockchain has evolved into a versatile tool for various transactions. Its potential to revolutionize industries, including agriculture, has been demonstrated. In agriculture, blockchain can be used to secure and streamline transactions, especially in high-value product areas. This paper suggests using blockchain to improve soybean traceability in the agricultural supply chain through smart contracts. The proposed solution eliminates the need for a central authority or intermediaries, providing secure and transparent transaction records. All transactions are recorded and stored in the blockchain’s unalterable ledger, linked to a decentralized file system, ensuring high transparency, traceability, and efficiency in the supply chain.

Results show PBL enhances problem-solving, teamwork, critical thinking, and engagement. The findings have implications for future PBL research and practice.
Syllabic Speech Synthesis for Marathi Language Soumitra Das 2023 1st International Conference on Cognitive Computing and Engineering Education Icccee 2023, 2023 In this work, a new methodology for synthesizing speech through syllabic division is presented. The goal of the Marathi language text-to-speech system is to convert written text into spoken form. Text-to-speech consists of two main parts: text processing and speech synthesis. The syllabic approach involves dividing a word into syllable units to improve speaking simplicity and naturalness, as long as the division is accurate and precise. A syllable is a pronounced unit of a word and a group of syllables or letters that occur together in speech. By using the syllabic method to decompose a word, information is gained on pronunciation length of each letter, pause points, and emphasis. The basic units of Marathi language are aksharas, represented as C for consonants and V for vowels. There are 37 consonants and 14 vowels, along with unique characters like Anuswar, Rafar, and Visarg in Marathi. To divide a word into syllabic clusters, the correct structure of the word must first be determined. Every word has either a CV (consonant-vowel) or PH (phonetic) structure, which is crucial in detecting any rule violations. This technique results in improved accuracy and training efficiency.
