Building Climate Neutral Economies Through Digital Business and Green Skills, 2024
This study explores the crucial importance of green accounting in manufacturing industry, emphasizing its role in addressing environmental issues while assuring financial performance and sustainable development. Organizations strive to address environmental concerns effectively by incorporating green accounting principles into costing, capital budgeting, and process/product design. Hence, this study collected data from 87 companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023 through purposeful sampling. Inductive analysis was employed to understand the relationship amongst green accounting, financial performance, and sustainable development. The analysis shows that green accounting positively impacts both sustainable development and financial performance, highlighting its importance for long-term sustainability. The study confirmed that the Green accounting and financial performance have become key indicators of a company's long-term viability.
  • Soft Computing Techniques Based MPPT for Solar Photovoltaic System

2024 IEEE Flagship International BIT Conference Next Generation Applications in Green Energy Technology Bitcon 2024, 2024
The focus of this study is on the efficient implementation of a simulation model design for a 100 KW photovoltaic (PV) system connected to a three-phase grid. The design consists of a single-string system, a DC-DC converter, a DC-AC converter, and two power-handling stages. The maximum power output was obtained using a unique hybrid ant lion optimization-cuckoo search (ALO-CS) maximum power point tracking(MPPT) method. The LC filter’s function is to connect the inverter’s output to the grid. According to the solid-state electronics in both converters’ inherent switching capabilities, this filter efficiently filters out the harmonics in the current as desired. With the support of the hybrid ALO-CS optimization technique, the power tracking is improved to 92.3 KW and harmonics has been reduced to 0.43% by using the current control technique in the voltage source converter. The hybrid approach used in this study is more efficient than individual algorithms.

The Assistive device aims to develop a system that can convert written text into high-quality speech to assist visually impaired individuals in accessing information more easily and also alerts the user when an obstacle come across in their way. The project using Raspberry -Pi installation of packages, certain libraries to create a natural-sounding and expressive voice that can accurately convey the meaning and emotions of the written content. Ultimately, this project is to enhance the quality of life for visually impaired individuals by providing them surrounding information and makes communication easy.

Custom Power is the application of power electronics to improve the quality of power distribution for sensitive industrial plants. Industries reporting production stops due to voltage disturbances, like short interruptions and voltage dips. Power electronics converters connected in series or shunt with the grid and equipped with energy storage can provide protection against voltage disturbances. This work focuses on the voltage source converter (VSC) connected in series with the grid for mitigation of voltage dips as well as swell. The core of this work is the dual vector current controller provide the error voltage. By using the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) or pulse width modulation (PWM) we will generate the switching pulses to the voltage source converter which provide the mitigation for sag and swell The controller consists of two loops as name as voltage control and vector current control loop. In this work SVPWM is used because of their easier digital realization and better DC bus utilization. Controllable series compensation is used for power quality improvement under sag and swell.
