Nilai pendidikan karakter pada cerpen waskat karya Wisran Hadi
This research aims to describe the values of educational character in Waskat short story by Wisran Hadi. This research used descriptive method. The source of the data is the short story “Waskat” written by Wisran Hadi. The data were collected through reading and understanding of the short story carefully and recording educational character values found in the short story. Data analyses were done using Miles and Huberman’s model (1992), namely: (1) identifying the short story Waskat as the object of the research, (2) reducing the data, (3) presenting the data, (4) interpreting the data obtained by theory, and (5) making conclusion. The results show that Waskat short story contains character education values, such as: (1) religiosity, (2) honesty, (3) tolerance, (4) discipline, (5) rigor, (6) independence, (7) communicativeness, (8) love of peace, and the value of (9) social care. In addition, this short story also contains sense of humor which entertains the reader.

Analisis Kesalahan Penulisan Frasa Endosentris Dan Eksosentris Pada Kolom Opini Tanjungpinang Pos Edisi April 2019
This study aims to analyze the writing errors of endocentric and exocentric phrases in the April 2019 Tanjungpinang Pos opinion column. The object of the research is the April 2019 Tanjungpinang Pos opinion column. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is the documentation technique. The data analysis technique is done by using content analysis. The results obtained from the April 2019 Tanjungpinang Pos opinion contained endocentric and exocentric phrases and endocentric and exocentric phrases of writing errors, including: (1) forms of attributive, coordinative and apositive endocentric phrases; and (2) forms of directive and non-directive exocentric phrases. The results of this study can also be used by teachers and high school students to be used as part of learning material.

Analisi Nilai Budaya Minangkabau dalam Kumpulan Cerpen Robohnya Surau Kami Karya Aa Navis
This study aims to describe social values based on Minangkabau cultural values in the Collection of Short Stories Surau Kami Karya A.A. Navis which includes the value of tolerance, the value of courtesy, the value of caring for the environment and the value of social care. The object of research is the Collections of Short Stories Surau Kami. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were library engineering, reading reading techniques and note taking techniques. Data analysis techniques were performed using the Miles and Huberman model analysis techniques.The results of the research obtained from the Collections of Short Stories Surau We have social values based on Minangkabau cultural values, including: (1) Tolerance values that respect the feelings of others and respect the opinions of others, (2) Value of courtesy that is the value of courtesy in speaking , (3) The value of caring for the environment, namely cleaning the surr
