Unspoken Words in Comic Books’ Dialogues. Comparative Analysis with Cinema Tatiana Blanco-Cordón Theleme, 2021 Notre but est de connaître l’étendue du phénomène interactionnel dans la bande dessinée, et plus précisément en ce qui concerne le non-dit. À partir de micro-lectures du roman graphique en série Plus ou moins… de Peggy Adam, nous nous proposons d’analyser l’effet de diverses manifestations menant, progressivement, du silence involontaire au refus de communiquer : troubles psychologiques, connaissances partagées, tabous conversationnels ou simple instinct de préservation dessinent les contours du domaine du non-dit, souvent plus informatif que la parole proférée. Nous porterons, à la fois, un regard contrastif prenant en compte les analogies et divergences de l’implicite dans le dialogue filmique et le dialogue de bande dessinée.
Autobiographies: Discursive challenges of self-representation in Franco-Belgian women's comics and Tatiana Blanco Cordón Cedille, 2021 The French autobiographical comic written by women constitutes a growing genre which reveals a huge diversity and richness of expression. Through a representative corpus of albums, we will endeavour to clarify to what extent these publications bring new narrative perspectives with respect to the standard comic form and how they contribute in a specific way to Self-representation. Our discussion is interested, above all, in the contention between sincerity and dissimulation in the construction of an autobiographical portrait. The study of the interdependent relationship in this double coded medium, between the text and the iconograph, allows us to delve into the pragmatics of the comic on which the discursive challenges posed by the female authors, are based
