New Dimensions of Innovations for Sustainable Economies and their Challenges Artificial Intelligence Big Data and Internet of Things for Sustainable Industry and Infrastructure Development, 2026
Mapping the landscape of cold chain management: a bibliometric study Madhu Arora, Vasim Ahmad, Rupesh Kumar, Anurag Singh, Sarbjit Singh Oberoi Benchmarking, 2026 Purpose The cold chain system is vital for food safety, public health, and sustainability. However, it still faces challenges in sustainable practices, especially in quality assurance, waste reduction, and efficiency. This study uses bibliometric and systematic review methods to trace the field's development over 25 years, identify gaps in global benchmarking, and propose practical performance metrics. Applying SPAR-4 and bibliometric tools, the study finds growing academic interest in cold chains since 2010 and stresses the need for standardized global indicators. A new KPI framework is presented to enable cross-regional comparisons and guide future research and policy. Design/methodology/approach The study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research on cold chain management published over the last 25 years. In addition, the SPAR-4 framework is applied to ensure methodological rigor in the systematic literature review process. Drawing on publications spanning 2000 to 2025, the analysis traces the evolution and trajectory of cold chain management research and examines its implications for business and logistics practices. Findings Bibliometric results show that cold chain publications experienced an 88% annual increase in citations from 2010 to 2025, compared with 2000–2009, highlighting rising academic interest. Most research centers on vaccine and food supply chains. The review also notes the absence of standardised global indicators for evaluating the cold chain. It suggests key dimensions: sustainability, safety and quality, operational performance, capacity, and integration with broader supply chains. Originality/value This study provides a comprehensive synthesis of cold chain management research, highlights key limitations in existing approaches, and identifies priority areas for future investigation. By proposing a structured KPI framework, it provides practical guidance to support the adoption and evaluation of sustainable cold-chain management practices.

Factors influencing sustainable family entrepreneurship growth: interpretive structural modeling (ISM) approach Rakesh Kumar, Anu Sayal, Richa Goel, Tilottama Singh, Vasim Ahmad Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, 2025 The research aims to focus on important factors that influence family Entrepreneurship growth. Sustainable family Entrepreneurship is the most extensive necessity for society and traditional family business. The Study selected 10 factors from existing literature and experts’ opinions that influence the long-term enhancement of sustainable business goals. The interpretive structure modeling (ISM) technique used for data analysis. This technique explores the leveling of factors. 25 experts were included to collect opinions. All experts were engaged in family business, such as managers, employee services for more than 10 years, and owners of businesses. The results show levels of factors from 1 to 5. The generation effect, business ownership, influence, control, market scale, cost-effective techniques, sustainable products, sustainable government policies, and sustainable innovation are key factors in long-term family entrepreneurship. The generation effect influences control, strategy, cost-effectiveness, and other aspects. Business ownership demonstrates decision-making and stakeholder connection, while influence and control involve giving stakeholders a favorable atmosphere. The study provides insightful for professionals, scholars, policymakers, and businesspeople. The research finds that entrepreneurship self-efficacy is the most important variable that influences family business. The study provides valuable insightful for professionals, family businesspeople, policymakers, and scholars.
Fundamentals of robotics: Architectures and applications Rakesh Kumar, Ayushi Sharma, Vasim Ahmad, Mohammed Ismail Iqbal Robot Automation Principle Design and Applications, 2025 An extensive overview of robotics, including its history, uses, and place in industrial society, is given in this chapter. This chapter discusses the design and structural elements, robotics function in teaching, and how automation has replaced mechanisation. The ethical implications of robots are also covered in this chapter, with a focus on the necessity of responsible advancement and assimilation into human society. The development of robotics from mechanised systems to autonomous robots is examined in this chapter. It uses thorough drawings and mathematical examples to address a variety of robot kinds, such as manipulators, mobile robots, and humanoid robots. The chapter traces the history of robotics from the earliest digital computers to industrial robots in the 1960s, highlighting the technology's critical role in modern industrial society and its ability to improve quality and production. The Robot Craft course, a global summer programme combining mechanical engineering, computer science, and mechatronics, is the main emphasis of the chapter's exploration of the educational side of robotics. Students create mobile robot platforms by combining robotic systems’ hardware and software. The chapter examines how robotics affects automation, defining autonomous, programmable, and hard systems. It also emphasises the significance of biologically inspired robots, especially humanoid robots. Using Isaac Asimov's laws of robotics as a guide, this chapter highlights the significance of robo-ethics in guaranteeing the moral evolution of robots that improve human lives without inflicting harm.
