A Robust Lemuria Framework for efficient crop prediction M. Tamilselvi, S. Vishnupriya, K. Ushanandhini, A. Dhanamathi Scientific Reports, 2026 Abstract Agriculture remains a critical pillar of the Indian economy, yet yield forecasting continues to be affected by climatic uncertainty and diverse environmental conditions. To address these challenges, this study introduces the Robust Lemuria Framework (RLF), a deep ensemble hybrid model that integrates a Deep Belief Network (DBN) for hierarchical and non-linear feature abstraction with a diversified ensemble of Random Forest (RF), J48 Decision Tree (DT), and Naïve Bayes (NB) classifiers for stable prediction consensus. The novelty of RLF lies in its two-stage optimized preprocessing pipeline, which applies DBN-based pre-training to eliminate noise, reconstruct missing values, and refine complex agricultural features through non-linear dimensionality reduction. The framework is trained and evaluated using a decade of multi-regional Indian agricultural data (2010–2020), capturing variations across climate zones, crops, and seasonal patterns. Experimental results show that RLF significantly outperforms existing machine learning and deep learning approaches, achieving 98.99% accuracy, 98.54% sensitivity, 99.35% specificity, and an R2 score of 0.9994 for yield prediction. These outcomes demonstrate the robustness, scalability, and real-world applicability of the model for agricultural forecasting. Overall, the proposed framework provides a reliable decision-support tool for precision agriculture, contributing to improved crop planning, resource allocation, and policy formulation.
A novel approach for document image binarization S. Vishnupriya, P. Saranya, E. Elangovan Icaccs 2015 Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Computing and Communication Systems, 2015 Extraction of text from badly degraded image document is a very challenging task due to the variation between the foreground and background text of various document images. The proposed system tackle this problem by the combination of several state of-the-art binarization methodologies as well as on the efficient incorporation of the edge information of the gray scale source image. Given a degraded document image an adaptive contrast map is first constructed. The contrast map is then binarized and combined with Canny's edge map to identify the text stroke edge pixels. The document text is further extracted using globally matched wavelet filters. Finally fisher classifier is used for improving the result of image segmentation. The approach is simple, robust and applicable to images of typewritten text as well as hand written text or a mixture of both. Experimental results shows that the proposed method gives superior performance compared with other techniques.
Secure multicloud storage with policy based access control and cooperative provable data possession S. Vishnupriya, P. Saranya, A. Rajasri 2014 International Conference on Information Communication and Embedded Systems Icices 2014, 2015 Cloud storage is a new business solution for remote backup outsourcing, as it offers an abstraction of infinite storage space for clients to host data backups in a pay-as you-go manner. However it is indispensable for cloud service providers (CSPs) to provide security techniques for managing their storage services. We tackle this issue by implementing the framework for multicloud storage in which the client's data is manipulated with fine grained policy based access control. In addition an efficient cooperative Provable data possession (CPDP) scheme is designed which offers an efficient verification on the integrity and availability of stored data. The proposed system includes addressing two security issues. First provide guarantees of access control in which only authorized parties can access the outsourced data. Second provides cooperative PDP scheme to support dynamic scalability on multiple storage servers. Extensive security and performance analysis show that the proposed schemes are highly efficient and provably secure.
Effective management of resource allocation and provisioning cost using virtualization in cloud Vishnupriya S., Saranya P., Suganya P. Proceedings of 2014 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Communication Control and Computing Technologies Icaccct 2014, 2015 Virtualization is the concept of providing efficient solution to the cloud computing paradigm by facilitating creation of Virtual Machines (VMs) over the underlying physical servers, leading to improved resource utilization and abstraction. The proposed method presents a automatic resource management system that makes use of virtualization technology to allocate resources based on application demand for a large scale cloud environment. Additionally Robust Cloud Resource Provisioning (RCRP) algorithm is used in order to achieve the best advance reservation of resources in order to reduce the cost. Maintenance of physical servers can be efficiently achieved through the proposed system as it leads to efficient consolidation of VMs. To analyze the behavior of a Cloud data centers the factors such as elasticity, scalability, live migration of VMs and performance isolation are analyzed by the cloud provider. Experimental results show that the proposed system provides less performance degradation that occurs due to VM migrations. Also the algorithm reduces the SLA violation compared to other techniques.
IBIO-A new approach for ATM banking system V. Rajesh, S. Vishnupriya 2014 International Conference on Electronics and Communication Systems Icecs 2014, 2014 Security and Authentication of individuals is necessary for our daily lives especially in ATMs.But the security provided with ATM systems has some backdoors. It has been improved by using biometric verification techniques like face recognition, fingerprints, voice and other traits, comparing these existing traits, there is still need for considerable computer vision. Iris recognition is a particular type of biometric system that can be used to reliably identify a person uniquely by analyzing the patterns found in the iris. In the proposed system a new approach- IBIO(Iris recognition based BIOmetric verification) is provided for ATM banking system. Initially Iris images are collected as datasets and maintained in agent memory. Then the Iris and pupil are detected from the image, removing noises. The features of the iris were encoded by convolving the normalized iris region with 2D-Gabor filter. The Hamming distance was chosen as a matching metric, which gave the measure of how many bits disagreed between the templates of the iris. Experimental results shows that all the bank accounts can be accessed without using cards through this Iris recognition efficiently.
Automatic vehicle detection and tracking in aerial surveillance using DBN and Graph cut model K. Priyadharshini, S. Vishnupriya, P. Saranya 2013 IEEE International Conference on Emerging Trends in Computing Communication and Nanotechnology ICE Ccn 2013, 2013 The robust tracking system for aerial surveillance is one of the important challenge in computer vision due to its large uncertainty. We tackle this problem by providing an approach for automatic vehicle detection and tracking for aerial surveillance. The proposed system includes feature extraction, color transformation, Dynamic Bayesian Network (DBN) and post processing. Support Vector machine is constructed for the classification purpose. Finally the results of detection after post processing are provided as input to the tracking system. To effectively handle the, tracking process the Graph cuts and the 2D parametric motion models. From the results obtained the performance of vehicle tracking on the detected vehicles gets increased on the challenging dataset with images taken at different camera angles and different heights.
