Walaa Talaat is a lecturer of economics and international development at Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University. Walaa has a PhD in development economics from the University of East Anglia (UEA), School of International Development, United Kingdom. Her research looked at social policy, social protection, poverty and vulnerability in Egypt using mixed method approach. She works closely with a range of national and regional development agencies. I enjoy engaging in cross-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research and primary data collection.
