Introduction. The renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power have increased significantly in recent years. However, as the generation of renewable energy has become more integrated, its intermission and instability have a major impact on the power system’s stability, such as voltage instability and frequency flicker. Purpose. In order to address the different power quality issues brought on by intermittent and unreliable renewable energy sources, electric spring offers a novel solution. It was proposed as a technique for regulating load and adjusting output power. For the integration of electric springs with noncritical loads, a contemporary control mechanism is described in this paper. Novelty. The suggested work is innovative in that it presents an improved control technique that efficiently maintains voltage stability as voltage changes. Method. The proposed technique is based on an analysis of the initial conditions and input data for developing fuzzy rules for calculating compensating voltages in relation to the difficulties. Results. This suggested fuzzy controller will be able to maintain the regular operation of the electric spring of power output control stability as well as continuing to provide power factor improvement and voltage control for significant loads, including the home’s protection system. Practical value. A detailed study of typical voltage regulation is undertaken, supported by simulation results, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the applied control scheme in cancelling the corresponding issues with power quality.

    IEEE
This paper presented simulation performance of Brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive using sensorless back EMF (Electro Motive Force) detection technique. Sensorless technique to control BLDC motor is required for different applications. However these motors require hall sensors to detect rotor position, which will further increase cost. There are different sensorless techniques such as inductance varying, flux linkage varying and back emf sensing. Back emf sensing technique is more effective compared to other techniques. So, back emf technique is considered for performance study of BLDC motor. MATLAB Simulink is used to find performance of BLDC motor. The BLDC motor performance is analyzed from various waveforms like back emf, phase current, speed, torque with respect to time at varying loads. The simulation results obtained are satisfactory for sensorless technique.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are seen as a necessary component of transportation's future growth. However, the performance of batteries related to power density and energy density restricts the adoption of electric vehicles. To make the transition from a conventional car to a pure electric vehicle (PEV), a Hybrid Electric Vehicle's (HEV) Energy Management System (EMS) is crucial. The HEVs are often powered with hybrid electrical sources, therefore it is important to select the optimal power source to improve the HEV performance, minimize the fuel cost and minimize hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxides emission. This paper presents the Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm for the control of the power sources in the HEVs based on power requirement and economy. The proposed GWO-based EMS provides optimized switching of the power sources and economical and pollution free control of HEV.

Energy efficiency is extremely important to all organisations, especially those that are energy intensive. Detailed studies to establish, and investigate, energy balances for specific plant departments or items of process equipment have been carried out. The energy audit of the industry (Indo-German Tool Room, Indore) has been done. It has been concluded that total energy saving potential of 1,28,560 KWH per year is possible by implementing the recommendations. Hence achievable saving is 13.85% of total annual electricity consumption. The total savings Rs.7,71,360/- per year with initial investment of Rs.12,79,000/-.

This paper is describes the method of measuring the flux linkage versus current and rotor position of SRM for submersible pump application. The knowledge of flux linkage characteristics of motor is utilized for determination of performance of motor, design of converter and rotor position. Proposed experimental setup is finding the flux linkage characteristics of motor and their modeling in MATLAB is also designed using Fourier cosine coefficients. Developed model is compared with experimental results.

In this paper a soft computing technique PSIM is used for the performance simulation of the BLDC motor. With the help of its user friendly approach and some basic theories, the corresponding PSIM models for the BLDC can easily be constructed. The simulation results of BLDC motor performance can critically evaluate under various input parameters in the PSIM environment. The accuracy of this approach can also be verified by comparing the simulation results in PSIM with the response obtained from the BLDC motor established results.
