Building bridges: Financial inclusion and the rise of new banking models in India Reepu, Shruti Sharma, Sanjay Taneja, Anuradha Jain Inclusive Finance in the Digital Era Bridging Climate Goals and Financial Access, 2025 The current decade has witnessed sustainable growth in financial inclusion in India. Due to the continued awareness created among individuals, the nation has seen a significant development in opening bank accounts and using digital services to make financial decisions. The construction of an inclusive financial industry offers two advantages that are complementary to one another. Initially, those excluded from the market may be connected to economic progress through implementing financial inclusion. In the second place, the economy's expansion has introduced new people to financial digital services. These new banking models include payment banks for those who do not have bank accounts, microbanks, and mobile money services. In tandem with the proliferation of non-banking technology companies competing for a larger share of the banking value chain, the concept of financial inclusion has evolved to encompass a broader range of individuals.

Engaging with AI influencers in online marketing 6.0: Paradox of authenticity vs. artificiality Vrishti Jain, Anuradha Jain, Kritika Nagdev Practical Strategies and Case Studies for Online Marketing 6 0, 2025 Artificial Intelligence (AI) influencers are becoming think tanks around consumer behavior, human engagement, branding purposes, and communications. The aim of this chapter is to discuss the identity paradox of authenticity versus artificiality in this new era of digital marketing and the emergence of Artificial Intelligence Generated Influencers (AIGI) who forge the lines of trust, emotional weight and active interaction between marketing firms and consumers. Although AI using influencers provide scalability, 24/7 engagement, and data-driven personalization, they also confront conventional concepts surrounding human connection and authenticity. This study investigates the psychology and ethics of consumer perception, the algorithmic infrastructure of virtual influences, and strategic implications for brand citizenship. Using a multidisciplinary approach, this paper outlines the future of marketing in a hyper-digital age and presents frameworks to support the ethical use of AI in influencer marketing.
Safety and security in autonomous traffic systems management with AI: Economic implications of traffic optimization in smart cities Anuradha Jain Machine Learning and Robotics in Urban Planning and Management, 2025 Safety and security are critical pillars in managing autonomous traffic systems with AI, particularly in the context of smart cities. These systems integrate advanced technologies such as IoT, V2X communication, and machine learning to enhance traffic flow, reduce accidents, and optimize urban mobility. However, ensuring the reliability of these systems demands robust safety protocols to address challenges like mixed-traffic scenarios and unexpected system failures. Concurrently, cybersecurity measures are vital to counter threats such as hacking and data breaches that could compromise vehicle and infrastructure integrity. Economically the AI-driven traffic optimization reduces congestion, cuts fuel consumption, and improves productivity by minimizing travel delays. The shift to autonomous traffic systems fosters urban sustainability by decreasing emissions and promoting energy efficiency. While challenges remain in terms of public trust and regulatory frameworks, the economic and environmental benefits position these systems as transformative solutions for the future of urban mobility.
Exploring the impact of affordable housing finance on urban inclusivity: a structural equation modelling study of access, perception, and financial empowerment Khasim Syed, Sachi Nandan Mohanty, Mukul Bhatnagar, Pawan Kumar, Rupa Khanna, et al. Frontiers in Sustainable Cities, 2025 IntroductionThe creation of housing inclusivity is significant for uplifting the weaker section of society. The government has always taken relevant steps in developing nations to promote inclusivity in finance and housing for equitable national growth. This inclusion depends upon many parameters. There is a lack of comprehensive research addressing how existing housing policies and designs systematically exclude marginalized groups, highlighting a critical gap in achieving housing inclusivity. The present research focuses on creating a framework that integrates all such parameters to provide insight into which parameters should be given more importance and which should be given less importance during policy implications.MethodsTo achieve this, the research technique of PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling) was employed in the present study. Mathematical calculations in the tool named SMART PLS 4 were based on the conceptual model to ensure the credibility of the framed model. The analysis was employed on the responses collected from the respondents using a constructed research instrument, which involves convenience sampling techniques and snowball sampling.ResultsUltimately, it can be inferred that government policies have the most significant impact on the financial improvement of low-income households, followed by perceptions of housing affordability and access to affordable housing finance.DiscussionThese findings have practical implications for government policy formulation, focusing on infrastructural development through loan assistance and regulatory support. Additionally, it is essential to provide tax incentives and necessary subsidies to the more vulnerable sections of society. Additionally, it is crucial to focus on financial empowerment through the cognition of efficient debt management to raise creditworthiness, as insinuated by the present research.
Policy and regulatory frameworks for financing smart healthcare Anuradha Jain, Raj Kumar Singh, Padam Bhushan Driving Global Health and Sustainable Development Goals with Smart Technology, 2024 As smart healthcare technologies emerge as pillars of modern medicine, developing policy and regulatory frameworks for sustainable financing becomes imperative. Regulatory complexities, spanning data governance, interoperability, and cost-effectiveness, present challenges and opportunities in securing funding for AI, IoT, and digital diagnostics. Policymakers must navigate privacy concerns, ethical dilemmas, and market dynamics to create resilient funding strategies. International cooperation plays a pivotal role in achieving SDG 3 by harmonizing funding protocols and prioritizing equitable access to advanced healthcare across nations. This chapter examines financial policy frameworks needed to support long-term technology integration in global health, exploring funding sources, cost management, and ethical imperatives. By addressing regulatory gaps, enhancing intergovernmental collaboration, and aligning technological investments with health equity goals, policymakers can foster a sustainable future where smart healthcare is accessible to all.
329-361 Kavita Dahiya, Sanjay Taneja, Anuradha Jain, Zelhuda Shamsuddin Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Driving Economic Transformation and Job Creation, 2024 This research utilizes the framework of institutional theory to explore the dynamics between student entrepreneurial ambitions and the support mechanisms provided by their educational institutions. The study involves a survey of 420 students from a selection of universities in Haryana, chosen for their diverse entrepreneurial programs. The study employs structural equation modeling to analyze the data and test our theoretical propositions. This research contributes a novel perspective to the discourse on entrepreneurship education by underscoring the significance of the institutional environment, rather than individual entrepreneurial traits, as a determinant of entrepreneurial intent among students.
Prospect theory and environmental finance: Navigating risk perceptions in the green economy Anuradha Jain, Padam Bhushan Neuromarketing S Role in Sustainable Finance, 2024 This paper delves into the intersection of behavioural economics through the lens of Prospect theory and environmental finance, focusing on how risk perceptions impact decision-making within the green economy. Prospect Theory, introduced by Kahneman and Tversky, elucidates the non-linear approach that individuals adopt when evaluating risky prospects, especially under loss aversion, framing, and subjective probability conditions. This study synthesizes theoretical underpinnings with empirical evidence, highlighting the implications of Prospect Theory in the environmental finance sector. Examining real-world case studies, we explore how the principles of risk perception shape investor behaviour, policy design, and market outcomes in green investments. Furthermore, the study offers critical insights into the role of cognitive distortions in steering the evolution of environmental finance as the world transitions to a low-carbon economy.
