During his time at the university, Muhammad Atif demonstrated exceptional dedication and passion for his studies, acquiring a deep understanding of the complexities of the human psyche. The present study investigates motivational interviewing with suicidal ideation on life time imprisonment inmates. This study shall explore the effectiveness of motivational interviewing among life time imprisoned inmates with suicidal ideation. Purposive sampling technique shall be used in order to select respondents from the target population. However, Pre-test and post-test research design without control group shall be used. The total sample size will be 30 respondents, n = 15 males and n = 15 females. Data will be collected from several jails including. Beck Scale of suicidal ideation (BSS) shall be used for pre and post assessment. For Data analysis Nvivo shall be used for the primary and secondary analysis.
