Manufacturing Methods for Piezoelectric Ceramic Materials Anamol Gautam, Bhasker Pratap Choudhary, Mirgender Kumar, Gaurav Singh Piezoelectric Materials Design and Applications, 2025 Piezoelectric materials, renowned for their pivotal role in precision and acoustic engineering, have become increasingly sought-after in various sectors such as electrical, energy, and biomedical industries. This growing demand has spurred researchers to delve into fresh materials and device combinations, while engineers tirelessly strive to advance existing technologies. Given the extensive scope of this field, it is imperative to provide a comprehensive overview of the diverse facets of piezoelectric materials. This chapter delves into a range of topics, starting with the fabrication processes for these 28materials. It explores the objectives behind the material design, including the consideration of solid solution compositions and dopants. Additionally, it scrutinizes the production of piezoelectric ceramic devices through a two-step process: the creation of ceramic powders and the subsequent sintering of shaped structures. To ensure the reproducibility of advanced device characteristics, wet chemical preparation methods are employed for ceramic powder production. Furthermore, this chapter delves into innovative synthesis techniques and the development of thin films, shedding light on popular device designs like multi-layers, bimorphs, and other composite types. It also examines the fundamental impact of particle size and film thickness on ferroelectricity, exploring their relationship with micro-/nanotechnologies. In terms of preparation methods for piezoelectric ceramics, this chapter offers a comparative discussion encompassing solid-state reaction routes, ball milling processes, and co-precipitation. Additionally, it elucidates alternative processing routes, such as spark plasma sintering and hot pressing, known for achieving high ceramic density in lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, albeit at a higher cost. Recognizing the limitations of these expensive techniques for mass production, this chapter explores cost-effective, rapid, and environmentally friendly alternatives. Specifically, it delves into the ultrasonic irradiation processing method and the polymer-modified ceramic processing method, highlighting their suitability for broader applications.
Role of AI for Fraud Detection in Banks: A Bibliometric Analysis Rajesh Tiwari, Shivani Rautela, Saurabh Sharma, Bhasker Pratap Choudhary, Rashmi Tripathi, Praveen Singh Proceedings 2023 International Conference on Advanced Computing and Communication Technologies Icacctech 2023, 2023 The rise of digital banking and online transactions has led to an increase in fraudulent activities within the banking sector. Traditional fraud detection methods are no longer sufficient to detect fraudsters. This paper explores bibliometric analysis on Scopus database. 66 documents were obtained from Scopus Database. India was the prominent country in citation. 64% documents have been published after 2019. There is increase in research interest after the onset of Covid pandemic. It was found that AI-based fraud detection systems outperform traditional methods for fraud detection. The paper provides inputs for further studies to develop framework for AI fraud detection in banks.
Graphene oxide-polyaniline coating on ionic polymer blend membrane for actuation Km. Rachna, R.M. Mehra, Pramod K. Singh, N.B. Singh, Bhasker Pratap Choudhary, Dibyendu Sekhar Bag Asian Journal of Chemistry, 2021 Ionic polymer metal composites (IPMC) can be used as actuators and sensors and intrinsically have low activation voltage and large bending strain, which help to transform electrical energy to mechanical energy and can be utilized as bidirectional material. In this study, the ionic polymeric blend films/membranes of PVDF:PSSS:PVP in the blend ratio of 40:30:30; 50:30:20 and 60:15:25 (wt.%) is presented. The membranes were prepared by solution cast technique and coated with graphene oxide (GO)-polyaniline (PANI). Membranes were characterized by X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy. Electrical conductivities at different frequencies and water uptake properties were also determined. The actuating performance of PVDF:PSSS:PVP and water uptake of blend membrane was found to be maximum for the blend ratio of 60:15:25. PVDF:PSSS:PVP with blend ratio (60:15:25) also exhibited highest actuation at 10 V DC. Graphene oxide was prepared and characterized by using FTIR and Raman spectra. A brief account of the fabrication of IPMC and its actuation application was also presented.
Structure and properties of silver phosphate glasses doped with copper oxide nanoparticles Bhasker P Choudhary, Sarita Rai, Nakshatra B Singh Emerging Materials Research, 2017 Copper oxide nanoparticle-doped silver phosphate glasses were prepared by the melt quench technique. X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy techniques were used to study the structural and morphological changes. Electrical conductivity, dielectric constant and dielectric loss were measured at different temperatures and frequencies. Additions of copper oxide nanoparticles in silver phosphate glass network reduced the activation energy for conduction. Differential scanning calorimetry studies showed an improvement in the stability of the silver phosphate glass network by the incorporation of copper oxide nanoparticles.
