Ramirez-Bruna, Cristina

Cristina Ramirez-Bruna is a dedicated academic and practitioner specializing in communication sciences and neuroscience. With a background as a Speech Language Pathologist, (SLP) she obtained her master’s degree in SLP and Language Sciences at the Universidad de Valparaiso. Building upon this foundation, she furthered her education with a Master's degree in Neuropsychology from the Universidad Mayor. These academic achievements solidify her grasp for the intricate interplay between brain and behavior.
Currently, she is an academic at the Rehabilitation sciences Faculty at the Universidad Andrés Bello and a student of the Neuroscience master’s degree program at the Universidad de Chile and Cristina's research pursuits are notably wide-ranging and carry substantial implications. Her investigative interests traverse various domains, including acquired language disorders and motor speech disorders in adults, neurodegenerative disorders and the complex phenomenon of aging.
