    Jenitha A, Deeksha B, Deepika J, Manasa Aralumallige S
2nd Asian Conference on Intelligent Technologies Acoit 2025, 2025
Six-port multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) antenna designed and demonstrated for cognitive radio (CR) applications. The proposed geometry is made of a single-layer dielectric substrate, where metallic patterns and electronic components are articulately used to exhibit both types of CR techniques (interweave and underlay) through three different working states. In the first state, the antenna radiate over a wide bandwidth from 2.26 to 7.00 GHz for sensing applications, while in the second mode, the geometry has a frequency tunability between 4.80 to 6.20 GHz to be used for interweave CR communication. In the third mode, a fixed band-notch response is obtained at 4.20 GHz (which can also be made tunable from 3.10 to 4.80 GHz), thereby fulfilling the underlay operation. The novelties of the proposed work are the realization of an innovative antenna topology exhibiting all types of CR operations (102.38% in the wideband state, 14.4% in the tunable narrowband state, and 27.21% in the tunable bandnotch state), at the expense of using the lowest number of diodes components

Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Inventive Research in Computing Applications Icirca 2025, 2025
Plant diseases significantly impact global agricultural productivity, necessitating early and accurate detection to prevent crop losses. Plant diseases have the potential to drastically lower agricultural output, resulting in financial losses and food shortages. Conventional plant disease detection techniques are labor-intensive, time-consuming, and error-prone because they frequently rely on human observation and manual inspection. This paper presents a deep learningbased approach for plant disease classification using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). The Plant Village dataset is utilized, consisting of labelled images of healthy and diseased plant leaves. The dataset is pre-processed using image augmentation techniques, and a custom CNN model is trained for multi-class classification. The proposed model achieves an accuracy of 86.6 %, demonstrating its effectiveness in detecting plant diseases. The results highlight the potential of deep learning in automated plant disease identification, contributing to precision agriculture and smart farming solutions.

Routing in Internet of Things (IoT) aided Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a serious procedure that defines a path or series of nodes via which data is transferred within network. This verdict is vital for enhancing data communication as well as energy competence, confirming that IoT systems and sensors proficiently gather and convey data to their proposed destinations. The selection of routes contains evaluating many factors such as transmission range, data packet size, node energy levels, network topology, and excellence of communication links. By creating knowledgeable decisions regarding route selection, IoT-assisted WSNs improve data reliability, reduce energy consumption as well as sustain seamless connectivity which is vital for a huge extent of uses such as industrial automation, smart cities, environmental monitoring, and healthcare. This manuscript develops an Enhanced Seagull Optimization Algorithm Route Selection Approach (ESOA-RSA) in IoT Assisted Wireless Sensor Networks. The principle of ESOA-RSA techniques lies in usage of Levy flight strategy within Seagull Optimization Algorithm (SOA) that improves exploration abilities of model. The developed fitness function in this method incorporates 3 key parameters namely distance, residual energy and node degree. This joined method goals to classify most effectual and trustworthy routes for data transmission in IoT assisted WSNs. By considering these parameters, this model enhances route selection to exploit data reliability, diminish energy consumption, and guarantee seamless connectivity within network. The experimental values highlight importance of ESOA-RSA method for enhancing performance and competence of IoT-assisted WSNs, mainly in applications such as smart cities, environmental monitoring, industrial automation, and healthcare.

Proceedings 2022 6th International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Control Systems Iciccs 2022, 2022
In India, cities contributes to approximately 31 percentage of current population and contribute to 63 percentage to the Gross Domestic Product(GDP) according to the 2011 census. Urban areas are expected to assist 40 percentage of India’s population and contribute for 75 percentage in the GDP by 2030 census. Population growth in smart cities leads to several challenges for the infrastructure management, garbage collection for the dispose etc to make citizen friendly and sustainable. The solid waste management is a critical issue in urban areas. The overflowing of dustbin creates an unsterilized enviornment which leads to various health hazard like discomfort in nose, lungs and throat. Inorder to overcome these issues, effective management of garbage is required. The Internet of Things(IoT) have influenced significantly. The proposed work represents the smart bin which includes the aurdino microcontroller, ultrasensor, and rainsensor. Aurdino is programmed in such a way that it sends an message through the Bylank app once the dustbin is filled.

    – Ad-hoc networks are architecture-less networks because the sender and receiver nodes are mobile, and a node can act both as sender and receiver. Mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANET's) work on the principle of routing protocols that transmit the data packets from the sender to receiver using a routing path and various nodes that act as hops. Utilizing the multi-path routing will improve the throughput and route resilience than single-path and it has not been used widely thoroughly in MANET. Due to the broadcast nature of the node, there is increased power consumption which reduces the network's lifetime. Hence an efficient algorithm is needed for power control thereby reducing the interference and enhancing the performance of the network. Because of the dynamic network topology structure where nodes may join or leave the network leads to link and path failure. Other limitations are it requires some other node to act as a forwarding agent if the radio range is not in this transmission range. To avoid the link failure and to improve Throughput with reliable data delivery by considering route resilience the Novel routing algorithm is proposed here. Ad-hoc On-Demand Vector (AODV) protocol is a standard protocol used in MANETs. AODV has the issue of scalability, load balancing, link failure, security, Packet Delivery Ratio & Throughput decreases and more power consumption when the number of nodes increases and for high data rates. This standard protocol required various enhancements to compare different parameters of the network data transmission, and this work considers data rates, throughput, and power consumption and proposes a new algorithm called DCM Algorithm (Data rate, Communication range, Message size) for enhancing the performance of the AODV protocol. The Enhanced Version is called Intelligent Energy Efficient Enhanced AODV (IEEE-AODV) it identifies the malicious Black-hole node and provides security from black-hole attacks. This research design was simulated on an OMNet++ software tool, the simulation results and graphs of various enhancements are discussed. The results and comparison between the default AODV and IEEE-AODV are explained with different parameters, and it was found that the IEEE-AODV has higher throughput values and lower power consumption with good scalability.

4th International Conference on Electrical Electronics Communication Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques Iceeccot 2019, 2019
Over the past decade multistage electrical drive system has been the focus of major studies. A total number of three stages were investigated in both multistage power transmission and multistage rectifier system. This literature deals with thirteen stages, which is regarded under the variable velocity polyphase drive scheme. Electronic power converters are always provided with polyphase drive systems. This document, proposes a method for obtaining thirteen stage output from the three stage supply. From the new transformer connection method, a classic thirteen-stage sine wave voltage and current is achieved. It is used for engine testing as well as load testing purposes. The conceptual design was used for simulation of inbuilt transformer blocks using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Parametrical variation and its effects on characteristics of microstrip rectangular patch antenna
    J. Deepika, M. Mathivanan, A. Muruganandham, R. Vivek
Proceedings of the 2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Electrical Computer and Communication Technologies Icecct 2017, 2017
This paper represents a brief description about design of rectangular microstrip patch antenna and its parameter effects in size, efficiency and compactness and parametric analysis in terms of return loss, bandwidth, directivity and gain by using same and different dielectric substrate materials with same and different thickness of rectangular microstrip patch antenna. The important parameters of patch such as L, W, £r and h has its own impact in antenna characteristics. This parametrical impact is studied and verified. As thickness of dielectric substrate increases, the gain & directivity of rectangular microstrip patch antenna decreases and bandwidth increases. As £r increases, the size of the antenna decreases but when height of dielectric substrate increase antenna size also increases. There will be always a compromise between miniaturization and other antenna characteristics. This antenna is designed for microstrip feed line technique and with center frequency (f0) at 4GHz. The parametric analysis is obtained by comparing the simulated results of rectangular microstrip patch antenna for different cases. The proposed antenna is simulated using HFSS tool at resonance frequency of 4 GHz.

Iconstem 2017 Proceedings 3rd IEEE International Conference on Science Technology Engineering and Management, 2017
In Democratic countries like India, the voting system plays a major role during elections. Traditionally, the election commission in India uses electronic voting machines which need more manpower, time-consuming and also they are less trustworthy. For avoiding misconceptions during elections, there are lot of advanced techniques are being proposed using various methods. But in the field of biometric identification, we can get the better results and it is also trustworthy. In this paper, we provide the various works which are being proposed based on the voting system which uses biometric identification as a major concept. some other works have different algorithms being used and some other works have different techniques provided are based on the multimodal biometric identification. In this paper, we proposed about the concept of getting the fingerprint impression of a voter which is entered as input to the system. Then compared with the available data in the database. If the particular pattern matches with anyone on the available record, access to cast a vote is granted. Then the result is instantaneous and counting is done via IOT.
