Miss Dimpee Baishya

Miss Dimpee Baishya completed M.A. in Performing Arts-Sattriya Dance from Dibrugarh University, cleared UGC NET in Performing Arts-Dance and pursuing Ph.D. from Dept. of Performing Arts since 2020 from MSSV, Assam. She got Junior Fellowship for research from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. & five years Scholarship in Sattriya Dance from Sangeet Natak Akademi under its project, support to Sattriya Dance and Music. She is Graded Artist of Guwahati Doordarshan Kendra. She published articles on various topics of Sattriya Art & Culture in various journals and presented papers in National & International Seminars and has given Lecture with Demonstrations on various aspects of Sattriya Art & Culture in various places of India. She has given training on various aspects of Sattriya Dance at various Workshops organised by different organisations. She Completed B.Mus. in Sattriya Dance from Asom Sattra Mahasova. She has been awarded Ustad Bishmilah Khan Yuva Puraskar by Sangeet Natak Akademi

EDUCATION

M.A. in Performing Arts from Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Centre for Studies in Performing Arts from Dibrugarh University, M.A. in Assamese Literature from Guwahati University, PRABIN in Hindi from Asom Rashtra Bhasa Prasar Samitee. She cleared UGC NET in Performing Arts- Sattriya Dance and has been pursuing Ph.D. from Dept. of Performing Arts since 2020 from Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Vishwavidyalaya, Assam.
