The article discusses the importance of a developed telecommunications infrastructure for the economic development of the state, as well as the role of IP video surveillance systems in integrated security systems. The issue raised is the integration of video surveillance with various technical systems, ensuring not only the notorious safety of agricultural production, but also helping to solve problems that are far from security. The authors paid attention to the characteristics of the IP camera traffic, examined the flow parameters, collected statistics and determined the average delay and packet transit time. Based on the data obtained, the authors developed a simulation model of an IP video surveillance system, which can be used to determine the optimal parameters of switching equipment for the system. This allows solving the problem of choosing network equipment at the design stage and reduces the likelihood of system failure at the implementation stage.

The paper considers the practical application of the theory of optimal design of circuit devices with feedback and desired characteristics on the example of two-line amplifiers of radio under the scheme with the common amplifier. Since the order of the differential equations describing the dynamics of the test device depends on the number of amplification stages it is shown that the problem is solved in the same way and for amplifiers with a large number of stages. It is proven that the technical realization of the synthesized control law is quite simple.

Abstract Screw conveyors used in the ginning industry when interacting with raw cotton, significantly damage it and reduce the quality of the products. The article presents the results of a study of the effect of antifriction polycaproamide composite coating applied to the surface of the screw and the chute on the quality of cotton fiber and seeds, as well as on the productivity and power consumption of the screw conveyor for cotton. During the production tests, measurements are made of the magnitude of the linear wear of the coating on the surface of the screw and chute. It is established that with the recommended thickness of the coating of APCC-I 600–700 microns, its durability under operating conditions at the cotton gin plant, with two-shift operation during one season, will be fully ensured.

It is shown that the processes of information exchange in complex distributed structures require appropriate control mechanisms based on a proper description that takes into account various sequences of formation of message components, which should be described on the basis of streaming models of distributed computing that determine the general approach for solving problems of analysis and synthesis of functional architecture in the plane of properties a quantitative assessment of the probabilistic-temporal parameters of the information exchange process, taking into account the parameters of the procedures implemented at various levels by the relevant protocols, as well as determining the general nature of the relationship taking into account the parameters of the procedures.

The development of means and systems of industrial automation, taking place along with the widespread use of modern information technologies, makes it possible to identify trends characteristic of this field of science and technology, and to predict the directions by which the most important changes will occur in the near future. It is shown that the main trend is a constant increase in the level of built-in artificial intelligence in control systems. From the standpoint of the most demanded and relevant areas of research and development, the driving forces and trends in the development and improvement of industrial automation systems are analyzed.
