Sustainable Supplier Selection and Order Allocation under Risk and Inflation Condition Maryam Almasi, Sahar Khoshfetrat, Masoud Rahiminezhad Galankashi IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, 2021 The main objective of this paper is to develop an integrated multiobjective and multiperiod mathematical model for sustainable supplier selection and order allocation of an automotive manufacturer. In spite of the vast quantity of research on this area, integrated consideration of risk and inflation in sustainable supplier selection and order allocation problem is less investigated. To fill this gap, this paper aims to develop a multiobjective sustainable supplier selection and order allocation model considering risk and inflation. Particularly, six objective functions of total cost, economic score, environmental score, social score, inflation rate, and risk level along with related constraints are optimized in the model. The developed model is solved using weighted sum approach and augmented $\\varepsilon $-constraint method. In addition, a sensitivity analysis has been conducted. The results provide the best sustainable suppliers and the optimum quantity of products to be purchase from each supplier in each period.
An Approach for Generating Weights Using the Pairwise Comparison Matrix Zaher Sepehrian, Sahar Khoshfetrat, Said Ebadi Journal of Mathematics, 2021 Data envelopment analysis (DEA) has been used for obtaining weights for the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), an approach known as DEAHP. This method sometimes identifies more than one decision criterion or alternative as DEAHP-efficient. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes a new approach that not only generates appropriate weights for the decision criteria or alternatives, but also differentiates between DEAHP-efficient decision criteria or alternatives. To this end, we propose a DEA model with an assurance region and a cross-weight model that prioritizes decision criteria or alternatives by considering their most unfavorable weights. Two numerical examples are also provided to illustrate the advantages and potential applications of the proposed model.
Sustainable supplier selection and order allocation: a fuzzy approach Sahar Khoshfetrat, Masoud Rahiminezhad Galankashi, Maryam Almasi Engineering Optimization, 2020 This research develops a fuzzy, multi-objective, multi-product and multi-period mathematical model for sustainable supplier selection and order allocation in the automotive industry. The problem has been investigated in previous studies, but order allocation in fuzzy environments has attracted less attention. To fill this gap, this research integrates sustainable supplier selection and order allocation with inflation, risk and fuzzy uncertainties. The most important criteria of sustainable supplier selection are developed to select the suppliers. The supplier selection process is conducted using an analytical hierarchy process. The order allocation process determines the optimum purchasing quantity of items from each supplier in each period. To achieve this, six objective functions, total cost, economic score, environmental score, social score, inflation rate and risk level, and the related constraints are considered in the model. An approach to a solution and sensitivity analysis are also provided. The results identify the best suppliers and optimum order allocation.
Preserve the relative efficiency values: An inverse data envelopment analysis with imprecise data Mojtaba Ghiyasi, Sahar Khoshfetrat International Journal of Procurement Management, 2019 Data envelopment analysis (DEA) measures the relative efficiency of a set of decision-making units (DMUs). With the advent of DEA models, inverse DEA is applied to modify the inputs and outputs of DMUs without affecting their efficiency. InvDEA models are applied when the decision makers need to change the input-outputs of the DMUs to a certain level without affecting their efficiency. InvDEA models are extended when the input-output data are imprecise and available in the intervals form. However, regarding uncertainty, complete information about the input-output data is not available in many real world applications. To address this problem, this study deals with the InvDEA problem in an uncertain environment. Therefore, two multi-objective linear programming (MOLP) models are proposed to estimate the required upper/lower inputs, producing requested outputs and preserving the efficiency scores. The proposed models preserve the upper/lower efficiency scores of all considered DMUs. A numerical example illustrates the proposed methodology.
Efficiency improvement of decision making units: A new data envelopment analysis model Sahar Khoshfetrat, Masoud Rahiminezhad Galankashi International Journal of Mathematics in Operational Research, 2015 The main goal of this paper is to develop a new data envelopment analysis (DEA) model to use optimal weights of each decision making unit (DMU) to improve its relative efficiency aligned with other DMUs. In spite of the vast amount of studies in this area and related tools and techniques, current literature deploys the optimal weights of DMUs to calculate the DMUs' relative efficiency and benchmarking for each DMU is less investigated. In order to fill this gap, this paper proposes a model for obtaining benchmark(s) for each DMU. Furthermore, a numerical example is used to illustrate the capability of the proposed model.
Improving weak efficiency frontiers in the fuzzy data envelopment analysis models Sahar Khoshfetrat, Sahand Daneshvar Applied Mathematical Modelling, 2011 Evaluating the performance of activities or organization by common data envelopment analysis models requires crisp input/output data. However, the precise inputs and outputs of production processes cannot be always measured. Thus, the data envelopment analysis measurement containing fuzzy data, called “fuzzy data envelopment analysis”, has played an important role in the evaluation of efficiencies of real applications. This paper focuses on the fuzzy CCR model and proposes a new method for determining the lower bounds of fuzzy inputs and outputs. This improves the weak efficiency frontiers of the corresponding production possibility set. Also a numerical example illustrates the capability of the proposed method.
