Alexey Trinchenko, Aleksandr Paramonov, Marsel Kadyrov, Aleksey Koryabkin
Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2017
This work is dedicated to numerical research of ecological indicators of technological method of decrease in emissions of nitrogen oxides at combustion of solid fuel in coal-dust torch to improve the energy efficiency of steam boilers. The technology of step burning with additional input in zone of the maximum concentration of pollutant of strongly crushed fuel for formation of molecular nitrogen on surface of the burning carbon particles is considered. Results of modeling and numerical researches of technology, their analysis and comparison with the experimental data of the reconstructed boiler are given. Results of work show that input of secondary fuel allows to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides by boiler installation without prejudice to its economic indicators.
  • Research on Influence of the Furnace Chamber Aerodynamics on Ecological Indicators of Boiler Plants (Part 1: Model of a Low-temperature Swirl Furnace)

    Procedia Engineering, 2017
The paper presents the results of a study of the effect of organization of the aerodynamic structure of gas-fuel streams in the combustion chamber on the ecological parameters of the boiler plant. The technological method of decomposition of nitrogen oxides on the surface of carbon particles with the formation of environmentally safe carbon dioxide and molecular nitrogen in the case of low-temperature swirl combustion of solid fuel is considered. The model, algorithm, methodology and mathematical program for calculating the process of generation and conversion of nitrogen oxides in the combustion of solid fuel by low-temperature swirl technology have been developed and tested on the experimental data.
  • Research on Influence of the Furnace Chamber Aerodynamics on Ecological Indicators of Boiler Plants (Part 2: Results of a Low-temperature Swirl Combustion Practical Implementation and their Analysis)

    Procedia Engineering, 2017
Results of solid fuel burning process calculations on low-temperature swirl technology are given at this work. The developed calculation procedure is based on the diffusion and kinetic theory of burning, considers generation and decomposition of nitrogen oxides, allows carrying out quantitative estimates of emissions of NOx during the work of boilers. The results of calculations showed that the organization of coal and peat combustion for low-temperature swirl technology allows improving ignition and burning of fuel, and considerably reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides. The received results are used at reconstruction of copper of BKZ-210-13,8 of the Kirov CHPP-4.
