Independent Researcher- Microbiome Specialist
Mohsen Hegab did research in Molecular Genetics and Molecular Physiology of inflammatory diseases (eg. RA, SLE& IBD) ranging from investigation of human specimens to animal models with special interest in the Drosophila as a powerful model in experimental medicine. The current research focus is host-microbiota interaction in health and diseases with harnessing gnotobiotics and theories of microbial ecology.
