Journal of Project Management Canada, 2025
The present study examined the perception of users towards the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving personal learning profile (PLP), personal learning network (PLN) and personal learning environment (PLE). Additionally, the impact of PLP, PLN and PLE on perceived ease of use, perceived effectiveness and perceived usefulness in improving the general attitude and satisfaction of users in their intention to use project management was examined. Results showed the impact of PLE on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, significant impact of PLP on perceived effectiveness, and impact of student pressure on intention to use project management. Data were obtained from professionals and students with experience in the use of project management modules. Notably, the obtained data were fully based on the perceptions of the respondents, resulting in potential self-perception bias. Perceptions of users towards PLP, PLN and PLE were integrated into the technology acceptance model framework of this study, to understand their impact on the general attitude and satisfaction of learners. Using AI can enhance learner attitude and satisfaction while creating more engaging e-learning, proving the crucial role of AI in forming the right environment through learner profile match.
  • The Impact of Adaptive Learning Technologies, Personalized Feedback, and Interactive AI Tools on Student Engagement: The Moderating Role of Digital Literacy
Husam Yaseen, Abdelaziz Saleh Mohammad, Najwa Ashal, Hesham Abusaimeh, Ahmad Ali, et al.
    Sustainability Switzerland, 2025
Using adaptive learning technologies, personalized feedback, and interactive AI tools, this study investigates how these tools affect student engagement and what the mediating role of individuals’ digital literacy is at the same time. The study will target 500 students from different faculties such as science, engineering, humanities, and social sciences. With the changing trends in educational technology, it is important to know if these tools allow students to interact with learning materials. Through this study, we explore how adaptive learning technologies, which adapt content to students’ progress, are influenced by student motivation and participation during the learning process using AI tools that provide real-time feedback and interaction. Also, digital literacy is presented as a moderating factor that may either accelerate or impede the effectiveness of these tools. These findings demonstrate that more adaptive learning technologies, which have organized feedback, and interactive AI tools help improve student engagement. Additionally, students with higher levels of digital literacy are more involved with digital tools. This research recognizes that teachers should incorporate these technologies into their courses in such a manner as it synergizes with student’s digital capabilities to reap the benefits of technology on students’ engagement and learning outcomes.

  • The impact of supply chain finance on financial sustainability in Jordanian SMEs
Amer Morshed, Bassam Maali, Abdulhadi Ramadan, Najwa Ashal, Munif Zoubi, et al.
    Uncertain Supply Chain Management, 2024
This research study investigates the feasibility of applying supply chain finance (SCF) in both small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Jordanian marketplace. It focuses on patterns of collaboration, factors of adoption, and challenges, tracing the significance of custom-tailored SCFs that specifically involve technological restrictions and governmental complications. Applying a mixed methodology of interviews and AMOS analysis that aims at collecting reliable data from financial and inventory managers in Jordan, this research indicates that the most considerable elements in developing supply chain finance in Jordan are credibility and sustainability. Guaranteeing fair access to funds and contentious innovation has proven to be a complete policy. Moreover, the results conclude that balancing regulatory support is related to simplicity, collaboration, and endorsement of worldwide access to technology. For further research within the same domain, this research recommends developing a customized SCF program and emerging inclusive policies that can pave the way for future research as a comparative analysis of diverse businesses and the study of its permanent effect, devising the integration of technology strategies and mentoring the effectiveness of financial policies.
  • Balancing data-driven insights and human judgment in supply chain management: The role of business intelligence, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence
    Najwa Ashal, Amer Morshed
Journal of Infrastructure Policy and Development, 2024
Purpose: This research examines the intricate interplay between Business Intelligence (BI), Big Data Analytics (BDA), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the realm of Supply Chain Management (SCM). While the integration of these technologies has promised improved operational efficiency and decision-making capabilities, concerns about complexities and potential overreliance on technology persist. The study aims to provide insights into achieving a balance between data-driven insights and qualitative factors in SCM for sustained competitiveness. Design/methodology/approach: The research executed interviews with ten Arab Gulf-based consulting firms. These companies’ ability to successfully complete BI projects is well recognised. Findings: Through examining the interplay of human judgement and data-driven strategies, addressing integration challenges, and understanding the risks of excessive data reliance, the research enhances comprehension of the modern SCM landscape. It underscores BI’s foundational role, the necessity of balanced human input, and the significance of customer-centric strategies for lasting competitive advantage and relationships. Practical implications: The research provided information for organizations seeking to effectively navigate the complexities of integrating data-driven technologies in SCM. The research is a foundation for future studies to delve deeper into quantitative measurement methodologies and effective data security strategies in the SCM context. Originality: The research highlights the value of integrating BI, BDA, and AI in SCM for improved efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction, emphasising the need for a balanced approach that combines data-driven insights, human judgement, and customer-centric strategies to maintain competitiveness.
