Development of effective chemicals for drilling fluid based on local and raw materials Nodirbek Kobilov, Bosit Khamidov, Khudoyor Rahmatov, Tashmurza Yuldashev, Sharifov Gulomjon, et al. Nafta Gaz, 2025 The paper presents the current state of chemical reagents used in the development and production of drilling fluids for oil and gas well drilling, based on local and raw materials from Uzbekistan. A novel and effective chemical reagent, MBR (drilling fluid lubricant), has been obtained from gossypol resin, a by-product of cotton oil production. Types of weighted water-based drilling fluids using bentonite, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), MBR (Moylovchi burg'ilash reagent), barite, and hematite and their physical and chemical properties were investigated. Methods for testing drilling fluid properties were studied, and the compositions and contents of chemical reagents and weighting agents for the preparation of weighted drilling fluids have been provided. The water-soluble modified powdery resin contains hydrophobic additives based on sodium salt of fatty acids and ionic surfactants. The use of these reagents in drilling fluids for oil and gas wells ensures the preservation of regulated rheological and filtration properties of polymer systems at 80–190°C for 30–40 hours. A method for obtaining new effective chemical reagents based on the physical and chemical modification of initial materials under various ratios, environments, and regimes has been developed. The requirements for chemical reagents and weighting agents according to geological conditions of oil and gas boreholes have been studied. A new formulation of weighted drilling fluids based on MBR, barite, and hematite using salt water with densities of 2.15 and 2.41 g/cm3 has been developed and recommended for use in oil and gas well drilling. The application of these research results is expected to increase the lubricity of drilling fluid due to the use of the MBR lubricant, enhance the mechanical speed of drilling, and can help address certain ecological problems in the country through the utilization of cotton oil and fat production waste.
An express assessment of the technical condition of an oil-filled power transformer using a simulation model based on the vibroacoustic parameters of the transformer tank Ibrokhimjon Ismoilov, Bekzod Boynazarov, Mirsoli Uzbekov, Dilmurod Yusupov, Iqboljon Zoxidov, et al. E3s Web of Conferences, 2024 Oil power transformers are the main device that ensures the reliability of power distribution in the electric power network. It is the only device for connecting electric power rings of any voltage. Long-term reliable operation of oil power transformers has a direct impact on the power system and can sometimes lead to accidents. The technical condition of oil power transformers depends on the technical parameters of their main components. In this paper, the results obtained in the oil power transformer tank under operating conditions, the generation theory and the simulation model are analyzed. As a result, an express evaluation of the technical condition of oil power transformers was carried out.
Increases in the volume of ore loss in ore pillars as the mine deepens Shadiboy Hakimov, Olimjon Kobilov, Shukhrat Tadjiev, Sirojiddin Khamzayev E3s Web of Conferences, 2023 The article discusses the increase in ore loss in mining systems with natural maintenance pillars of the developed space, which cannot be extracted in conditions of high concentration of stress after development of reserves. The main directions of increasing the efficiency of traditional systems for the development of vein deposits are shown.
Classification of systems for opening reserves beyond the limit contour of the quarry of upland deposits Shukhrat Tadjiev, Olimjon Kobilov, Erkinjon Sharopov, Jurabek Choriyorov, Abdugoffor Bahriddinov E3s Web of Conferences, 2023 The article considers the systems of opening the contiguous reserves of upland deposits and develops their classification. Proposed classification takes into account the development of both portside and sub-quarry reserves in an open-underground way using the quarry space. Opening workings of sub-quarry reserves are carried out outside the boundaries of the quarry.
New composition of chemicals and heavy drilling fluids for drilling oil and gas wells Nodirbek Kobilov, Bosit Khamidov, Abror Shukurov, Sarvar Kodirov, Kuvonchbek Juraev E3s Web of Conferences, 2023 The article shows the importance of obtaining new composition of heavy drilling fluids based on composite chemical reagents from local raw materials and industrial wastes for drilling oil and gas wells. In the process of building oil and gas wells to maintain the stability of the walls, to prevent the flow of salts, and to prevent the penetration of formation fluids into the well, it becomes necessary to increase the density of the drilling fluid, which can be accomplished by introducing components with increased density. For obtaining and stabilization heavy drilling fluid were investigated and recommended new compositions of powder water soluble gossypol resin and carboxymetylcellylose sodium and other minerals. Stabilization indexes and their determination in the drilling process of oil and gas wells have been investigated. The result of research have been implemented in the drilling process of oil and gas wells with abnormally high reservoir pressure.
Laboratory research of coal briquette quality indicators Khasan Kobilov Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2022 The research is based on the results of scientific research on the development of technology for the production of high-energy and environmentally friendly coal briquettes. The study of crushing of different sizes of coal, as well as the study of separation processes on the geometric size of the fine fraction of coal revealed high efficiency of hammer grinders and multi-layer screening devices for sorting, based on the consistency of briquette constituents, a technological system for the production of briquettes based on the use of a solution of biohumus and rice starch as effective biobinders, providing effective interaction of coal particles. The strength of briquettes obtained by increasing the amount of starch solution in coal compounds by 2%, 4%, 6% is 1.3-1.5 times, and when the pressing pressure is increased from 5 MPa to 40 MPa, the average strength of briquettes is from 2.8 MPa to 6.4 MPa. increase was detected.
Patterns of causation in accidents and other systems engineering failures Diane Sorenson, Karen Marais 10th Annual International Systems Conference Syscon 2016 Proceedings, 2016 Project failures occur despite the industry's best systems engineering efforts. Detailed information on project failures is difficult to find, which makes it difficult to study or understand their causes and hence to identify ways to prevent future failures. In contrast, many accidents have extensive investigations with public reports. To determine whether lessons from accidents can also be used to prevent other types of failures, we compared the causes of accidents and project failures. Our sample consisted of 30 accidents and 32 non-accidents, ranging across various industries. We extracted causes from the reports on accidents and project failures, and analyzed these causes by framing them in a common "actor-action-object" structure. We discarded the details particular to each failure (e.g., the particular component that was affected) to allow us to focus on the underlying problem (e.g., components were not properly maintained). Next, we extracted the particular actions involved in each cause (e.g., failed to maintain). Ten, or just under half of the 22 problematic actions we identified were equally likely to appear in accidents or project failures (95% confidence interval). Of the remaining twelve actions, the majority can be reasonably attributed at least in part to differences in investigation style between accidents and non-accidents. Some differences occur because of when accidents and non-accidents tend to happen. Poor maintenance was rarely an issue in non-accidents, because most project failures occur long before maintenance becomes a concern. Finally, actions involving regulations, procedures, or training were cited more often in accidents, reflecting the greater number and extent of regulations, procedures, or training related to safety.
