  • Digital Resilience of the Bucharest Nine and Ukraine

    This study examines the digital resilience of the Bucharest Nine, an Eastern European NATO alliance, and Ukraine amidst the challenges of digital transformation. It aims to identify factors influencing their ability to manage cyber threats, digital divides, and socio-economic disparities resulting from rapid digitalization. Using a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative analysis and qualitative insights, the research computes an index of digital resilience based on cybersecurity measures, digital infrastructure quality, and socio-economic impacts. Findings reveal varying resilience levels, with some countries demonstrating robust cyber defenses and advanced digital infrastructures, while others lag due to weaker capacities and socio-economic constraints. Comprehensive policy frameworks and inclusive digital strategies are emphasized as critical for enhancing resilience. However, the study’s focus on the Bucharest Nine and Ukraine may limit broader regional representation, and reliance on available data and potential biases in self-reported indices may affect comprehensiveness. Nonetheless, the insights can inform policymakers in developing targeted strategies to bolster digital resilience, emphasizing cybersecurity, bridging the digital divide, and promoting digital literacy and participation. This research contributes to understanding digital resilience by offering a comparative analysis of often overlooked geopolitical regions, combining various indicators to provide a holistic view of their digital landscapes.
  • CROSS-BORDER TRADE IN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC CONVERGENCE SYSTEM

    The article examines cross-border trade dynamics within the framework of European economic convergence, focusing on trade between Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary. It aims to shed light on trade trends, implications in the context of economic integration, and convergence efforts. The study provides a comprehensive analysis of trade channels, outlining the economic convergence goals and principles within the European context and highlighting the importance of trade. It explores specific trade channels between Ukraine and its neighbouring countries, analyses data, and assesses the impact on economic development and convergence efforts. The findings contribute to understanding the role of trade in promoting cohesion.

    In accordance with the basic statements of management science, which help to a based conceptual approach to the formation of innovative entrepreneurship`s creative potential, its elements are the purpose and objectives, objects and subjects, principles, functions and subsystems, consideration of which the most significant managerial influences and stages of the process of forming the creative potential of enterprises. The theoretical and methodological basis of scientific research were scientific concepts and theoretical developments on methods of forming and evaluating the creative potential of innovative enterprises; information and analytical materials. During the writing of the article, the methods of theoretical generalization, comparative analysis and synthesis were used. The purpose of the article is to develop a conceptual approach to the formation of the creative potential of an innovative enterprise and substantiation of the method of evaluating its creative component. To achieve this goal, the following tasks are solved in the article. The essence and components of the formation of the creative potential of the innovative enterprise are defined. The factors influencing the formation of the creative potential of an innovative enterprise (socio-economic, demographic and socio-mental) are identified. The relationship between the creative, intellectual and competence components of the creative potential of an innovative enterprise is established. An algorithm for calculating the relative coefficient of the creative potential of the employee is proposed. It is reasonable that the direct parameter of the creative component is an integral indicator of the biological (natural) and socio-economic activity of man. The principles of formation of the creative potential of the innovative enterprise (system, complexity, flexibility, efficiency, consistency, protection of innovative business from threats and dangers of external, internal and design environment) are developed. Subsystems for ensuring the formation of the creative potential of an innovative enterprise (organizational, methodological, personnel, information, and software) are considered.
