Rafael currently works at the Department of Dental Materials and Prosthodontics at Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), Sao Paulo, Brazil. Rafael does research in Dental Materials and Partial-Fixed Prosthodontics. Currently investigating Degree of polymeric conversion, adhesive strength of the tooth/cement interface, and optical changes after adhesive/cement photoactivation by transillumination of laminates with different translucency and thickness.

Surgeon-Dentist, Araraquara Dental School (FOAr) of the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho".
