Fish Lectins

Proteins which are able to agglutinate erythrocytes and other cell and bind to specific sugars(Polysaccharides)of the cell surface.Functions include endocytosis,regulation of cell migration and adhesion,intra cellular translocation etc & binding of bacteria to epithelial cells.
