  • Study of The Role and Impact of Foreign Investment on Economic Growth in Developing Countries

    The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of external financial resources on the economic development of developing countries on the example of Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan. The study analysed the key channels of influence of foreign investment on various sectors of the economy. The impact of investments on industry, agriculture, and the service sector was examined. The study also analysed the economic factors that influence investment attraction. Particular attention was paid to the level of legal protection of investors. The availability of reliable legal mechanisms could substantially influence the decision of foreign companies to invest. The study explored how such dependence on foreign investment could lead to economic instability. The negative impact on local enterprises was investigated. The role of public policy in optimising the attraction of foreign investment was determined, which was necessary to ensure sustainable economic development. Based on the analysis of the impact of foreign investment on economic growth in developing countries, conclusions were drawn on how such investments shape the economic structure and contribute to socio-economic development. The findings showed that foreign investment not only provides financial resources, but also facilitates the transfer of technology, knowledge, and new management practices.
  • Export of educational services as a driver of sustainable economic development: A comparative study of Kyrgyzstan and the Czech Republic

    This study explores the role of international educational services in promoting sustainable economic development, using Kyrgyzstan and the Czech Republic as case studies. The research methodology included a survey of 50 experts in Kyrgyzstan and 50 in the Czech Republic, comparative analysis and recommendations. The main results of the study showed that the Czech Republic is much more competitive in the international education market than Kyrgyzstan. Several important aspects, such as student infrastructure and scholarships, also showed an advantage for the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic exhibits higher sustainability in its education export model, characterized by institutional support, inclusive infrastructure, and alignment with global sustainability standards. Kyrgyzstan shows potential for growth by enhancing educational accessibility, reducing language barriers, and increasing investment in sustainable education strategies.
  • Export of medical education in the university ecosystem of the Kyrgyz Republic

    The article defines the role of export of educational services in the system of national education of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main problem in the realization of such services is the integration of foreign students into the national environment. The purpose of the study is to create a means to support such students in mastering educational programs. For this purpose, a structural analysis of the educational process was carried out to establish the key objects and related processes. A functional model is created, reflecting all aspects that influence the change of process states and transforming objects (e.g., controlling influences and mechanisms). The resulting model is the basis for the design phase in the software life cycle model.

    The objective is to research the exogenous factors of the crude mortality rate in Kyrgyzstan and to evaluate their immediate influence on the dependent variable using the multiple factor correlation and regression analysis method. According to calculations the average per capita income (X3) and the public expenditures on environment (X9) have the largest contribution in the reduction of mortality in Kyrgyzstan. Practical implications of the calculations include a recommendation for the population development programs in Kyrgyzstan to forecast the reduction of crude mortality by 0.27% (with the average annual per capita income growth of 1%) and by 0.14% (with the growth of public expenditures on environment by 1%). The discussed methodology can be used to determine the adequate contribution of exogenous factors to the dependent variable in a multiple linear regression relationship.
