A precise forecast model entails a plentiful data in order to attain the most accurate predictions. However, a forecast of future rainfall from historical data samples has always been challenging and key area of research. Hence, in modern weather forecasting a combo of computer models, observation, and knowledge of trends and patterns are introduced. This research work has presented a fitness function based adaptive artificial neural network scheme in order to forecast rainfall and temperature for upcoming decade (2021-2030) using historical weather data of 20 different districts of Karnataka state. Furthermore, effects of these forecasted weather parameters are realized over five major crops of Karnataka namely rice, wheat, jowar, maize, and ragi with the intention of evaluation for efficient crop management in terms of the passing relevant messages to the farmers and alternate measures such as suggesting other geographical locations to grow the same crop or growing other suitable crops at same geographical location. A graphical user interface (GUI) application has been developed for the proposed work in order to ease out the flow of work.

Our study considers a wide variety of weather figure methods which can observe weather in the midst, or month to month or annually by considering the available meteorological information. So the precise forecast of weather parameters is emerging as a challenging task due to their dynamic environment conditions. Different machine learning systems are connected to foresee air parameters. Along with weather prediction, various applications based on Numerical Weather Prediction outputs are also analyzed.
Emergence of small world behaviors in optical transport networks N Priyanka, S Janhavi, Prajwal Subramanya, L Naveen, Rahul Nyamangoudar, et al. Proceedings of the International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics Icici 2017, 2018 Optical networks are ubiquitous these days in all corners of the globe. All the core networks are very much optical and they are the main traffic carriers for the people of the world. Over the last three decades, optical networks have gone through several changes. In this paper, we analyze the nodal degree changes in the topological aspects of the optical networks. Basically, the small world behaviors have been changed to a large extent in the recent past. In order to have an effective and fast communication, it is necessary to reduce the number of hop lengths from one node to other node. This leads to an increase in nodal degrees and thus the emergence of small world behaviors. In this article, we analyzed the topologies of 50 optical transport networks (OTNs). From the statistical analysis of the nodal degrees of these 50 OTNs and their evolution we found that the networks tend to show small world behaviors. We also compared the extent of small world behaviors found previously with the current ones. We found that 12 networks which did not exhibit small world behaviors a decade ago are having them now.
