An Automated Segmentation Approach using Clustering Technique for Dental Problems Impacted 3rd Molar 13th International Conference on Advances in Computing Control and Telecommunication Technologies Act 2022, 2022
An etiology of Inferior Alveolar Nerve on third molar using dental image processing Tirth K. Dalsaniya, Kavindra R. Jain Proceedings of the 2017 International Conference on Wireless Communications Signal Processing and Networking Wispnet 2017, 2017 The location and distance of Inferior Alveolar Nerve with the third molar is the most crucial part of a panoramic image. Surgery for removal of impacted third molar involves various post-operative complications. They are more common in mandible rather than maxilla. It includes bleeding, dry socket, nerve injury, delayed heeling, periodontal pocketing and infections. Due to ambiguity of its structure, the Inferior Alveolar Nerve is very elusive to extract in dental radiograph. In this paper a novel method for automatic extraction of Inferior Alveolar Nerve is being proposed. The technology of medical image processing has extensively evolved in recent years. We have used panoramic radiograph for purpose of analysis. During enhancement of radiographs various post-operative morphometric operations have been used. After pre-processing and canny edge detection ROI is being extracted for further analysis. The main theme to identify vital anatomic structure such as the Inferior Alveolar Nerve is neglected during the surgical procedure.
Inquisition on lesion identification based on clustering in periapical dental radiographs Snehal Patel, Hitesh Shah, Kavindra Jain Proceedings of the 2017 International Conference on Wireless Communications Signal Processing and Networking Wispnet 2017, 2017 In recent year's classification and/or clustering of dental radiograph for lesion detection is an active area of research. Dental radiographs imaging offers the possibility of segmentation and classification on the basis of various techniques. As dental radiograph differs from person to person the challenge is for automatic or semiautomatic computer aided analysis. Imaging is an indispensable process in the visualization of human tissues. Also, Segmenting of dental image results in caries/lesion detection in the crown, gum or pupil area. This paper present a background survey and suggesting further flow for lesion identification based on clustering in periapical dental radiographs.
Impacted third molar extraction with severity report based on measured parameters for dental radiographs Shashvat J Bhatt, Nirav P. Desai, Kavindra R. Jain Proceedings of the International Conference on Inventive Computation Technologies Icict 2016, 2016 As the technology become advanced, every field initiate to utilize the advantage of it. Dental field is also one of them. dental x-ray images are very cheap and popular way for dentist diagnosis. now a days so many dental software are available but, having higher coast of purchase. So in this paper we develop a method with coast effective way of finding severity of impacted third molar based on MATLAB program. our working region is the impacted third molar, its segmentation from dental x-ray image, with the help of image processing techniques like image enhancement, morphological filter, morphological operation, labeling, region based extraction and then after different parameters measurement and it's result will decide severity of the impacted third molar. severity report may assist us to know about which case is more critical and need more attention.
Development of a classification system for quality evaluation of Oryza Sativa L. (Rice) using computer vision Niky K. Jain, S.O. Khanna, Kavindra R. Jain Proceedings 2014 4th International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies Csnt 2014, 2014 Carrying out effective and sustainable agriculture product has become an important issue in recent years. Agricultural production has to keep up with an ever-increasing population. A key to this is the usage of modern techniques (for precision agriculture) to take advantage of the quality in the market. The paper reviews various quality evaluation and grading techniques of Oryza Sativa L. (rice) in food industry using computer vision and image processing. In this paper basic problem of rice industry for quality assessment is defined which is traditionally done manually by human inspector. Computer Vision provides one alternative for an automated, non-destructive and cost-effective technique. In this paper we quantify the qualities of various rice varieties in Asian subcontinent and figure out features which directly or indirectly affect the quality of the rice. Based on these features a generalized approach of quality is proposed to be used for quality evaluation of any type of rice variety.
Analysing effect of different noise attacks using quality attributes with specific reference to spatial watermarking method N. Y. Joshi, K. R. Jain, C. V. Maheshwari Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies Csnt 2013, 2013 In this paper we propose a method to hide colour watermark in the host image based on spatial domain technique. For the evaluation of Imperceptibility & Robustness of the proposed method we have calculated six different quality measure parameters. We have tested watermarked image against different noise attacks at different noise densities. The parameter so calculated gives the measure of perceptible quality of embedded & extracted images.
Non-destructive quality analysis of KAMOD ORYZA SATIVA SSP INDICA (Indian Rice) using machine learning technique V. Shah, K. Jain, C. V. Maheshwari Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies Csnt 2013, 2013 Rice is one of the most important cereal grains. The paper presents a solution for quality evaluation and grading of Krishna Kamod rice using image processing and soft computing technique. In this paper basic problem of rice industry for quality assessment is defined which is traditionally done manually by human inspector. Machine vision provides one alternative for an automated, non-destructive and cost-effective technique. The proposed method for quality assessment of INDIAN KAMOD ORYZA SATIVA SSP INDICA (Krishna Kamod Rice) using image processing and multi-layer feed forward neural network technique which achieves high degree of quality than human vision inspection. The proposed algorithm based on morphological features is developed for counting the number of Krishna Kamod rice seeds with long seeds as well as small seeds. A trained multi-layer feed forward neural network based classifier is developed for identification of unknown rice seed quality.
Feature vector extraction of carpus for human identification G. N. Talati, K. R. Jain, N. P. Desai Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies Csnt 2013, 2013 Now a day's human identification through Image processing is one of the emerging requirements in the world. The use of X-rays is generally used in detection of cracks and fractures in bones. This paper presents a novel & more efficient kind of approach for human identification using feature vector extraction of carpus bones. We will be focusing on the adult age group (18-35 yrs.) of that person because by this time the growths of the bones are stable. The aim of this paper is to identify an unknown person from the database registry using carpus bones distance calculation pattern.
