Enhancing Physical Layer Security in Millimeter Wave Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Networks Parul Awasthi, Vishal Awasthi Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, 2026 Millimeter‐Wave (mmWave) massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a key enabler of next‐generation wireless communication, providing high spectral efficiency and improved data rates. Massive MIMO utilizes a large number of antennas at the base station to enhance spatial diversity, while OFDM mitigates inter‐symbol interference and enhances spectral efficiency. The combination of mmWave and massive MIMO with OFDM enables high‐capacity communication with reduced latency, making it ideal for 5G and beyond networks. Physical Layer Security (PLS) provides a robust alternative to traditional cryptographic techniques, leveraging information‐theoretic principles to counter advanced eavesdropping threats, including quantum computing attacks. However, conventional PLS key generation methods suffer from reduced secrecy due to the slow variation of channel characteristics. To enhance security, a deep learning‐based key generation approach is proposed using a deep graph convolutional neural network to extract virtual angle of arrival and angle of departure features. The proposed method achieves a bit agreement ratio of 0.5767 and a key generation rate of 1856.59 bits/s, significantly improving key secrecy. Secure data transmission is ensured using a hybrid deep Q‐learning with recurrent neural network framework, incorporating on‐off transmission schemes, which enhances security by achieving a secrecy capacity of 5.37 bps/Hz, maintaining a throughput of 119.55 Mbps, and a latency of 8.00 ms, ensuring scalability. Additionally, evaluations of the secrecy rate of 5.37 bps/Hz, secrecy outage probability of 10 −2 , and 95% Eavesdropper interception capability, demonstrate significant improvements over state‐of‐the‐art techniques.
Design of a Hybrid Bio-Inspired Model for Energy Harvesting Networks Parul Awasthi, Vishal Awasthi Wireless Technology Advances and Innovations for Smart Iot Applications, 2026 Energy harvesting for maximizing battery efficiency is a pivotal task in wireless sensor networks. Sustainable sources of energy are converted into electrical energy with an energy harvesting circuit. There is a need for fundamentally efficient models that allow for low-energy operations. Energy distribution modeling is required while designing energy-collecting networks, but they are susceptible to internal and external defects, which increase energy consumption. The proposed model uses a Genetic Algorithm (GA) based on their residual energy and distance metrics. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a technique for processing clustered nodes that assists in the deployment of a fault-tolerant and energy-harvesting process. The PSO method is further enhanced by combining an Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) model and Teacher Learner Based Optimization (TLBO), which aids in value-based defect identification and mitigation activities.
Machine Learning Models Employing Data Implications for Diabetes Prediction Nitya Priya Agarwal, Parul Awasthi, Amit Katiyar, Anand Gupta Proceedings of 6th International Conference on Expert Clouds and Applications Icoeca 2026, 2026 Diabetes, Healthcare is a vital part of life. Unfortunately, the progressively aging population and the related increase in prolonged illness are placing substantial pressure on current healthcare systems. One of the major health problems that are spreading quickly and alarmingly around the world is diabetes. It significantly affects a nation's social, economic, and human elements. Diabetes mellitus can have a negative impact on a variety of human organs, including the brain, nerves, heart, kidneys, eyes, skin, and more. It is crucial to address the accompanying perplexities if we are to decrease the occurrence of this sickness. Excessive thirst, excessive weariness, weight gain, wooziness, skin discoloration, sexual problem, fungus infection, high blood sugar, frequent urination, etc. are some of the prevalent early symptoms and indicators of diabetes. Because of the under resourced healthcare system, people all over the world are uninformed of the signs, symptoms, and difficulties of this syndrome. The need for resources from hospital beds to doctors and nurses is exceptionally high. The Machine learning has been broadly recognized as a prospective solution to relieve the burdens on healthcare systems and has thus been the focus of much recent research. There are about 40 diverse forms of diabetes, some of which include Type 1, Type 2, gestational, and pre-diabetes. Of all diabetes forms, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) affects 90% of the population. This will enable us to decide which of these approaches is the most successful. Some of the performance measures that are looked at include accuracy, F-measure, recall, and precision. Other performance measures are also available. The best accuracy score is 76% for the Random Forest model, which also has the highest overall score of 0.76 and the highest f-measure value. Getting the highest score possible is how all of these honours came to be. Additionally, with a precision value of 0.63, it has the greatest f-measure and f-measure precision values. It also has the greatest worth. Out of all the methods, the Random Forest won, obtaining the highest recall score of 0.74

Massive MIMO Wireless Solutions in Backhaul for the 5G Networks Arun Biradar, Nimmagadda Sathyanarayana Murthy, Parul Awasthi, Ajeet Kumar Srivastava, Patan Saleem Akram, M. Lakshminarayana, Shafiqul Abidin, Vikas Rao Vadi, Asefa Sisay Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, 2022 In general, the MIMO technology is used to transfer data from a protocol such as Wi-Fi in 5G networks. This is due to the increased bandwidth and capacity. The 802.11n protocol, which, using the technology described in it, allows you to reach speeds of up to 350 megabits/second. The quality of data transmission has improved even in areas where the reception signal is low. An external access point with a MIMO antenna is a well-known one. The WiMAX network can now transmit information at speeds of up to 40 megabits/second, using MIMO. It uses MIMO technology up to 8 × 8 . Thanks to this, a higher transfer rate is achieved—over 35 megabits/second. In addition, reliable and high quality connection of the best quality is guaranteed. In this paper, we continue to work and enhance technical configurations of MIMO in 5G networks. The proposed model will improve spectrum performance, improve network capability, and speed up data rates. In a saturation point, the proposed method achieves that the signal to noise interference ratio is just 42.4%, the receiver signal strength is 92.94%, the downstream traffic is 48.76%, the upstream traffic is 45.62%, the bandwidth utilization is 97.43%, the speed is 95.79%, the connectivity between the access point is 90.6%, and the network security is 96.42%.
Analysis of IDMA scheme with different interleavers Neerja Sharma, Parul Awasthi Proceedings of the International Conference on Advances in Computing Communication and Control Icac3 09, 2009 Some requirements for future wireless 4G systems are low receiver cost, decentralized (i.e. asynchronous) control, simple treatment of ISI, cross cell interference mitigation, diversity against fading, power efficiency (long battery life), multimedia services, high user number, high throughput and high spectral efficiency. All the factors mentioned before are not fulfilled by previous multiple access techniques. IDMA is a technique, which gives better result. It employs interleavers in order to distinguish the users. This paper provides a comprehensive study of IDMA technique.
