She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). She completed a medical residency in Animal Reproduction and Veterinary Obstetrics at UNESP-Botucatu, where she also earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in the field of Reproduction and Animal Biotechnology. During her doctorate, she undertook a research internship at the Gluck Equine Research Center at the University of Kentucky, in the United States. Subsequently, she pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Extremadura and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, both in Spain.
