Music has been widely used as a therapeutic tool and is recognized as an integrative practice recommended for interventions aimed at physical, mental and emotional health. Studies indicate that music can stimulate the release of neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being. Because it is an accessible and non-invasive approach, music has been used as a complementary tool for medical and psychological treatments. This systematic review seeks to evaluate the benefits of this therapy when tuned to the frequency of 432 Hz and 440 Hz in the treatment of conditions related to mental health, exploring its potential as a therapeutic resource in different contexts.
