This Special Session explores the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), animation technologies, and the valorization of tangible and intangible cultural heritage. As AI reshapes creative industries, it provides unprecedented opportunities for reconstructing, interpreting, and disseminating cultural assets through intelligent animation systems. The session focuses on how AI can support the re-creation of historical sites and monuments, the digital simulation of intangible practices (oral traditions, music, rituals, legends), and the automation of creative pipelines in animation for heritage storytelling.
