I have a degree in Mathematics from UFPE (2005), a Master's and Doctorate from the Postgraduate Programme in Mathematics and Technology Education (EDUMATEC) at UFPE. I worked as a mathematics teacher in basic education (2005-2009) and as a mathematics teaching technician in the Secondary Education Policy Management Department of the Pernambuco State Education Secretariat (2011-2013).

EDUCATION

I am the leader of the Study Group on Combinatorial Reasoning at the Education Centre (GERAÇÃO), created by Professor Rute Borba in 2009. I coordinate the Mathematics Teaching Laboratory of Agreste Pernambucano (LEMAPE), which researches, studies, develops, and discusses the use of teaching resources for mathematics education. I work at the Centre for Research, Extension, and Training in Rural Education (Nupefec-UFPE) as a mathematics teacher trainer in different projects. I participate in the Working Group-GT12 on Statistical Education of the Brazilian Society of Mathematics Education (SBEM), the Research Group on Teaching, Learning and Educational Processes (GPENAPE) and the Research Group on Statistical Education (GPEE). I am a professor in the mathematics degree programme at the Agreste Academic Campus, in the Postgraduate Programme in Mathematics and Technology Education, and in the Postgraduate Programme in Contemporary Education of UFPE.
