He serves as a university lecturer in the courses Art in Education, Methodology of Visual Arts Teaching, and Supervised Teaching Practicum within the Undergraduate Arts Teacher Education Program at Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC), offered in partnership with Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB) (2022–present), in the cities of Tubarão and Laguna (2022–2025). He also teaches Art History, Art Education Laboratories, and Supervised Teaching Practicum in the Visual Arts Undergraduate Program (Licentiate and Bachelor’s Degrees) at UNESC (2023–present). He has been a tenured Art teacher in the public education system of the State of Santa Catarina at EEB Ana Machado Dal Toé since 2013. He currently serves as Art Curator of the Museu da Terra e da Cultura de Morro Grande, located within the Centro Cultural Pedro Dal Toé (2022–present), in Morro Grande.
EDUCATION
Professor, researcher, and art curator. Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate Program in Visual Arts at the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC), within the research line of Theory and History of Visual Arts (2024–present). Holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Heritage and Society from the Universidade da Região de Joinville (UNIVILLE), in the research line Heritage, Memory, and Languages (2021). Earned a specialization degree in Theory and History of Art from the Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC) (2018). Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts Education from the Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC) (2015).

SOUTHERN CANYONS PATHWAYS UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARKS: STRATEGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Anna Lethicia Dos Santos, Dione da Rocha Bandeira, Mariluci Neis Carelli, Juliano Bitencourt Campos, José Gustavo Santos Da Silva, et al. Revista De Gestao Social E Ambiental, 2023 Objective: This article aims to understand the process of setting up the GMCCS and its prospects for the sustainable development of the communities living in the territory. The following research questions are posed: a) How did the prospecting of UGGps take place in the LAC region? b) How did the process of recognition and approval of the GMCCS take place? c) How has the GMCCS contributed to the sustainable socio-economic development of the towns that make up the territory? Method: In order to achieve the above objectives, the state-of-the-art methodology was used, together with bibliographic and documentary research, to understand the conception of the idea of geoparks in the international context and their dissemination around the world. Results and conclusion: As a result, it was found that the territories that have been recognized, including the GMCCS, have proved to be effective and sensitive tools for the socio-economic development of their respective communities, although the prospecting of geoparks in LAC is still happening slowly and gradually. Research implications: UGGps (UNESCO Global Geoparks) aim to promote the sustainable development of local communities. The GGN (Global Geoparks Network) currently has 177 accredited territories around the world, ten of which are in the LAC (Latin America and the Caribbean) region. The research shows that the territory of the UNESCO World Geopark Caminhos dos Cânions Sul is moving towards promoting sustainable development in its territory.
