Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Pediatric infectious disease specialist at João Paulo II Children's Hospital, where she works with the control of healthcare-associated infections (Risk Unit CCIH of the FHEMIG Emergency Complex). She holds a degree in medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2008), a master's degree in Public Health from Fiocruz Minas (2016), and a doctorate in Child and Adolescent Health from the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2020). She conducts research in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, especially on the following topics: viral meningitis, viral encephalitis, arboviruses, SARS-CoV-2 infection, and hospital infection control.
