Establishing a Global Framework for Sustainability in Higher Education Dhanashri S. Havale, Umesh Patwardhan, Nilambari Moholkar, Jaya Saxena, P. Selvakumar Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Transnational Education for Sustainable Development, 2026 Sustainability in higher education has emerged as a critical and transformative imperative in the 21st century, reflecting the urgency of global environmental, social, and economic challenges. With increasing concerns about climate change, biodiversity loss, social inequality, and resource depletion, universities and colleges around the world are being called upon to play a pivotal role in fostering sustainable development. This role extends beyond education and research to encompass institutional operations, community engagement, and global collaboration. Through partnerships with local governments, businesses, NGOs, and indigenous communities, universities contribute to sustainable development at regional and global levels. Service learning, community-based research, and sustainability-focused extension programs empower students and faculty to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, addressing pressing societal needs while building collaborative relationships.
Myth, Memory, and Market: Exploring Cultural Mythology in Consumer Brand Perceptions Dr. Nilesh Anute, Dr. Mayank Tripathi, Dr. Namita Chawla, Dr. Dhanashri S. Havale, Dr. Prashant Kalshetti, Dr. Ganesh Pathak, Dr. Shailesh Tripathi International Journal of Accounting and Economics Studies, 2025 In a competitive marketplace, consumer perceptions of brands encompass not only functionality and quality but also important cultural narratives and mythologies. This research examines the relationship among cultural mythology, collective memory, and branding, highlighting the impact of traditional myths and symbolic associations on consumer choices, loyalty, and perceptions of brand authenticity. This study analyzes the utilization of mythological characteristics, including archetypes, heroes, rituals, and nostalgia, by brands to shape consumer perceptions and enhance market resonance, based on cultural semiotics and consumer psychology. A standardized questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 180 respondents from urban and semi-urban areas, encompassing various age groups, genders, and educational backgrounds. A quantitative analysis was performed on demographic data and responses to 21 closed-ended questions to identify trends and correlations associated with mythology-infused branding. The findings indicate that consumers unconsciously associate brand narratives with cultural myths, and brands that align with established mythic frameworks generally improve emotional attachment and brand recall. Generational memory and regional culture significantly influence brand perceptions, indicating that effective branding strategies must incorporate cultural context. This study contributes to marketing literature by clarifying the role of symbolic communication and cultural storytelling in promoting consumer engagement and preference.

Leveraging social media for B2B IT companies: Strategies and challenges for hospitality Pushan Kumar Dutta, Dhanashri Sanadkumar Havale, Pravin Chavan Digital Disruption in Hospitality AI and Emerging Technologies A Roadmap to Personalized Experiences Enhanced Operations and Revenue Growth, 2025 Abstract The chapter provides an in-depth analysis of how social media marketing (SMM) is utilized in the business-to-business (B2B) sector, particularly within the hospitality industry. It emphasizes the growing importance of social media as a tool for B2B companies to connect with clients, enhance brand visibility, and drive sales. It is a cheap way to get more people to know about the company, become customers, and visit the site. Customers can also talk to each other immediately, which is a great way to get good information and build trust in the brand. Include some eye-catching images to draw in people and get them to share. The social media tool allows people to talk to each other. Fix the problem immediately and show that it cares about the customer’s issues to improve the worst situation. User-generated content gives social proof, which can help people believe and join in. The way social media works changes all the time. Always know what is happening in the field and change as things change.
Electric Vehicles: Paving the Way for Sustainable Green Transportation and Environmental Protection Dhanashri Sanadkumar Havale, Swati Manoj Yeole, Alex Khang Lecture Notes in Intelligent Transportation and Infrastructure, 2025 Considering the rise in temperature, regardless of any nation or country, global warming is really becoming a threat to the earth. Many factors are responsible for this global warming, especially the environment, which plays a key role in protecting our mother Earth. Considering the environment and future sustainability, many countries are gradually shifting to zero-emission vehicles. One Hundred Eighty-nine countries agreed to work together on a low-carbon future. It is through lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Transportation is one of the major sectors to lower greenhouse gas emissions. Transportation accounts for 23% energy energy-related greenhouse gas emissions. EVs can be a competitive alternative in the transportation sector, from e-bikes to large trucks. Allowing for a sustainable future and environment, the alternative of electric vehicles (EVs) pops up as a first option. A major chunk of pollution is due to the use of vehicles. With the growing population and customer affordability, the usage of cars has highly increased over the last decade. The extensive use of fuel all over the world forced the automobile industry to develop alternative fuel options or renewable fuel technology. So Electric vehicles are globally promoted by the automobile industry as a sustainable and eco-friendly solution. When you shift to EVs, it brings decarburization and alleviates climate change. As per the projections estimated by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the segment of Electric Vehicles is expected to blow up from 0.7 to 31% by the year 2050. According to research conducted by the European Energy Agency, electric cars emit approximately 17–30% less carbon than gasoline and diesel cars. Wide usage of EVs reduces the dependence on non-renewable sources. One of the MIT reports found that a fully electric vehicle emits about 25% less carbon than a comparable hybrid car. To priotarize the environment and sustainability, it is need of an hour to reduce carbon usage, whether it is in production or transportation. This chapter deals with green transportation through electric cars and its effect on the environment, and sustainability. It will be a systematic review of the electronic database of Scopus for the duration of 2020–2024 carried out on electronic vehicles the environment, sustainability, governance (ESG) and its impact on green transportation. It is predicted, that e-vehicles will change the automobile market and provide environmental sustainability.

Integrating technology into farming: A path towards sustainable and precision agriculture Hrishikesh Kokate, Dhanashri Sanadkumar Havale, Pravin Chavan Revolutionizing Automated Waste Treatment Systems Iot and Bioelectronics, 2024 Precision farming, often known as digital agriculture, minimizes production costs by identifying both temporal and geographical changes within fields to achieve the highest levels of productivity and profitability, sustainability, and land resource conservation. The need to alter agricultural management techniques to sustainably safeguard natural resources including water, air, and soil quality while retaining economic advantages is being driven by the general public's growing environmental consciousness. It involves applying inputs (such insecticides and fertilizers) in the proper amounts, at the appropriate times, and locations. “Site-specific administration” is the term used to describe this kind of management. With almost a third of the world's food requiring irrigation for production, the productivity of the global food supply has increased in recent decades, mostly due to the expansion of irrigation systems. Global market rivalry for agricultural commodities, in general, puts traditional agricultural systems' economic sustainability in jeopardy and necessitates the creation of innovative, flexible production systems. With a focus on the methodical operationalization process, the goal of this chapter is to suggest a technology driven farming. The chapter intends to highlight how precision agriculture (PA) can facilitate farmers to use new technologies to make their farms more productive without hurting the quality of their crops or land. The chapter discusses the current status and opportunities for digitalizing agriculture sector.
