Dr. Sandeep Agrawal is an experienced academician and academic administrator with over fifteen years of experience in higher education and industry. He currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Economics & Finance, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, where he teaches postgraduate students and guides doctoral research in the areas of Quantitative Techniques, Research Methodology, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, and Financial Management. Dr. Agrawal is widely recognized for strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing student employability. Under his leadership as TPO, Bundelkhand University has conducted successful placement drives with leading organizations including ICICI Prudential, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Bajaj Allianz, Axis Bank, IBM, Cognizant, HCL, Maruti Suzuki, Ashok Leyland, and others. He has spearheaded numerous MoUs with national and international organizations, including the landmark collaboration with 1 Million for 1 Billion (1M1B), benefitting over 10,000 students across 70+ affiliated colleges. INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Dr. Sandeep Agrawal brings valuable industry exposure from his tenure with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd., where he worked in the Group & Alternate Channel. He served as an Insurance Service Executive from June 2007 to May 2008, followed by his role as Relationship Manager from June 2008 to December 2008.
In these roles, he was actively involved in the sales and marketing of life insurance products, particularly through HNI and non-HNI franchise channels. His responsibilities included recruitment and management of franchise partners, corporate agents, and employees, as well as developing and maintaining strong client and partner relationships. He applied effective managerial, communication, and negotiation strategies to enhance business volume, expand market reach, and achieve organizational growth objectives.
This industry experience has enabled Dr. Agrawal to integrate practical corporate insights with academic teaching, strengthening his approach to industry-oriented education, employability training, and institution–industry collaboration.

STARTUP

Dr. Sandeep Agrawal has been actively involved in promoting startups and entrepreneurship through academic–industry collaboration and incubation support. As AIIRA Coordinator under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, he has facilitated student engagement with startups, incubation centers, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. He has played a key role in strengthening institutional linkages with startup and innovation platforms such as RISE Jhansi Incubation Center Foundation, B-School Bulls, NATLABS, Wegrow, Tezz Dimag, and Medhavi Aspire Pvt. Ltd., among others. His initiatives include organizing entrepreneurship development workshops, boot camps, startup mentoring sessions, and skill-based training programs aimed at fostering innovation, self-employment, and startup readiness among students.
