Presently, Dr. Krishan Kumar is shouldering the responsibility as Head of the department in Computer Science & Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NITUK), India. He received Ph. D. for his thesis title "Performance Enhancement of Events Detection and Summarization Models in Videos over Cloud," in the Computer Science & Engineering, at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India in 2019. Dr. Kumar is serving NITUK since July 2014. He has more than 06 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. He shouldered many other responsibilities as a Coordinator or member in the Institute like Institute Level Purchase Committee, Institute Level Library Committee, Procurement Committee, Senate, Startup, Advisory Committee on Faculty Recruitment, Campus Wide Networking, IT Services, CUG Services, Institute Telephone Services, and CCTV Surveillance etc. He supervised 06 M.
