Programa de pós-graduação em Ecologia e Evolução
Universidade Federal de Goiás

I hold a PhD in Ecology and Evolution from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), including a research stay at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. I earned my Master’s in Ecology and my Bachelor’s degree (both Teaching and Research tracks) in Biological Sciences from the University of Brasília (UnB), with an exchange period at the University of Vigo. I have research experience in Community Ecology and Restoration Ecology, focusing on ecological restoration, plant ecology, priority effects, and functional ecology. During my Master’s, I investigated the use of direct seeding in Cerrado restoration. In my PhD, I examined how plant functional traits can optimize species selection for the restoration of degraded areas and the recovery of ecosystem services. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Ecology and Evolution program at the Federal University of Goiás, investigating how computational tools can enhance the use of functional traits in ecological restoration.
