A UWB Dual Notched Antenna with H-Shaped Strip and U-Shaped Slot for Application in Wireless System B K Behera, S K Dash, J R Panda, S N Mishra, J. Siddartha Varma, P K Patra Proceedings 2nd IEEE International Conference on Device Intelligence Computing and Communication Technologies Dicct 2024, 2024 In this work, a simple band-dual notched ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna having the characteristics of monopolar type has been conceptualized by creating creating two rectangular slots (DGS) in the ground plane, then printing an H-shaped strip on the rear portion of the substrate and followed by creating a slot of U-shape in nature in the rectangular radiating element (RE) of the conceptualized antenna for the generation of band-dual notched characteristics 3/4 GHz (WiMAX) and 5.1/6.1 GHz (WLAN) for the co-existence of band-narrow WLAN and UWB system simultaneously. The proposed stricture provides the wide operating UWB bandwidth of 2.46 to 14.69 GHz with 143% fractional bandwidth (FB). The conceptualized antenna demonstrates the appropriate gain in the UWB systems and exhibits the stable radiation pattern (RP) for proper operation in UWB systems.
A Wideband Circularly Polarized CSRR Loaded Patch Antenna for ISM And C-Band Applications J. Siddartha Varma, Jyoti Ranjan Panda, G. Anjaneyulu, Sandeep Kumar Dash, Sudhakar Sahu Proceedings IEEE International Conference on Device Intelligence Computing and Communication Technologies Dicct 2023, 2023 In this work, a wideband CPW-fed T-shaped circularly polarized patch antenna is reported. A complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) metamaterial unit cell is loaded on the ground plane to enhance the axial ratio bandwidth for having circular polarization. The overall dimension of the antenna is 50x50x1.6 mm<sup>3</sup>, which is a compact structure. Simulated impedance bandwidth below -10 dB is from 2.2 GHz to 7.75 GHz (113%), which covers the frequency ranges of the ISM band, the IMT band, and WiFi 6/6E. It also has circular polarization in IMT band 2 (4.4–4.9 GHz) and WiFi 6/6E (5.925–6.425GHz). The average gain of the patch antenna over the entire range is around 4 dBi.
V-Shaped Asymmetric Slit Patch Antenna for Wireless Applications Loaded with Dual Complementary Split Ring Resonators J. Siddartha Varma, Jyoti Ranjan Panda, G. Anjaneyulu, Sandeep Kumar Dash, Sudhakar Sahu 2023 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Applications Icaia 2023 and Alliance Technology Conference Atcon 1 2023 Proceeding, 2023 A highly miniaturized dual CSRR loaded square patch antenna with asymmetrical slits at diagonal locations is presented in this work. This compact antenna is useful for wireless applications in X band frequency range. This simulated patch antenna has two CSRR unit cells on a square patch to improve axial ratio bandwidth, which is required for circular polarization. It has an impedance bandwidth of 15.35% over the frequency of 10.2 GHz to 11.9 GHz (1700 MHz), which covers the X band frequency range for satellite and wireless applications. It also has circular polarization from 10.55 GHz to 11 GHz with an axial ratio bandwidth percentage of 4.65, which covers the fixed satellite services application. The simulated antenna has an average gain of 5.5 dBi in the operating frequency range.
A Dual-band Slotted Antenna with a strip of Inverted L-shape for S-Band and WLAN Application J. Siddartha Varma, J R Panda, S K Dash, B N Rao, S N Mishra, G. Anjaneyulu 2023 2nd International Conference on Trends in Electrical Electronics and Computer Engineering Teeccon 2023, 2023 A slotted antenna of dual-band in nature having a planar structure has been proposed in this manuscript in which feeding is accomplished by microstrip transmission line having a L-shaped strip of inverted in nature is embedded in rectangular slotted portion in the grounded plane of the antenna. The proposed antenna produces resonances at the two frequencies-centrals of 3.48 GHz and 5.20 GHz with the bandwidths of percentage of 7.76 and 19.58 respectively which is appropriate for usage in S-band and WLAN. The gains of simulation at the two central frequency of resonance are 2.71 dBi and 2.87 dBi respectively. The antenna exhibits stable patterns of radiation at 3.48 GHz and 5.20 GHz.

Siddartha Varma, S Mohapatra, Sandeep Kumar Dash, P K Patra, J R Panda, B K Behera 2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics Esci 2023, 2023 An dual-band slotted antenna of planar in nature is provided in this paper which is antenna fed by the transmission line of microstrip in nature having a rectangular small patch is erected for proper matching of impedance. The provided slotted antenna is conceptualized by creating an open-ended slot of square in size in the plane of grounded in nature. An asymmetric thin horizontal T-shaped stub is erected from the left bottom side of the slotted area of the plane of the ground. The antenna which is provided resonates at the two frequencies of 2.38 GHz and 5.19 GHz having the bandwidths of percentage (BP) of 22.13 and 60.25 respectively suitable for application in WLAN systems.

Siddartha Varma, Bikash Kumar Behera, Budhadeb Maity, S Mohapatra, Jyoti Ranjan Panda Proceedings of the International Conference on Intelligent and Innovative Technologies in Computing Electrical and Electronics Iciitcee 2023, 2023 A planar notch antenna with the UWB operational characteristics is fed by the transmission line of microstrip in nature having the concentric circular element of radiation which is suitably embedded with a slotted U-shape to notch out the band of 5/6 GHz (WLAN) band from the entire UWB band has been proposed in this manuscript. The notch antenna having UWB characteristics which is proposed exhibited the high rejection capability, the characteristics of the peak gain of appropriate nature and pattern of radiation of stable in nature in the UWB band of operation except the notched band of 5/6 GHz.
A Compact Slotted Antenna with Two Parallel Stubs of Vertical Open-ended in Nature for Application in Wireless Communication S K Dash, B K Behera, J. Siddartha Varma, J R Panda Proceedings of 2022 IEEE International Conference on Current Development in Engineering and Technology Ccet 2022, 2022 An antenna fed by the transmission line of microstrip in nature with slotted characteristics having two parallel stubs of open-ended in nature which are emerged simultaneously from the inner edge of the middle top portion of the ground plane of rectangular slotted in nature is proposed in this paper. The antenna which is proposed is comparatively having smaller physical structure of size 24×28 mm<sup>2</sup> which produces two simultaneous resonances at 1.81 GHz and 5.91 GHz respectively which are essentially operating bands of DCS/PCS and WLAN systems. Both the resonating bands exhibiting the percentage bandwidths of 9.94 and 8.75 respectively. The peak gains at the two resonating frequencies are 3 dBi and 3.5 dBi respectively, which are sufficient for the application of DCS/PCS and WLAN. The antenna which is proposed stable patterns of radiation and gain which is appropriate in nature.
Microstrip-line fed Dual-band L-shaped Antenna with Monopolar Characteristics for Application in WLAN Jyoti Ranjan Panda, J. Siddartha Varma, Sandeep Kumar Dash, Sudhakar Sahu, G. Anjaneyulu 2022 IEEE North Karnataka Subsection Flagship International Conference Nkcon 2022, 2022 In this paper a microstrip line fed dual-band monopole antenna with L-shaped radiating element for operation in WLAN is proposed. Two paths of resonance are created in the L-shaped radiating element for dual-band operation of the proposed antenna at the center frequency of 2.56 GHz and 5.49 GHz for WLAN application. Two resonating paths are approximately equal to quarter wavelength length at 2.56 GHz (0.234λg) and 5.49 GHz (0.192λg). The proposed antenna exhibits appropriate gain and pattern of radiation characteristics which enables the proposed antenna suitable for application in WLAN band of operation
Design of a CPW fed Microstrip Patch Antenna with Defective Ground Structure for Wireless Applications G. Anjaneyulu, J. Siddartha Varma Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Inventive Computation Technologies Icict 2021, 2021 A compact coplanar-waveguide (CPW) fed patch antenna with simple defective ground structures (DGS) is presented in this work. By introducing the asymmetrical bevel like slits on the ground plane, wideband properties are achieved along with circular polarization. Several shapes of slots are introduced on the ground and finally proposed antenna is finalized to have wide bandwidth from 6.50-14.10 GHz with impedance bandwidth of 73.8 % and gain of the patch antenna at center frequency, 10.1 GHz is 4.2dBi. The simulated antenna finds application in C, X and Ku bands.
