Dr. B.H.Patel received his B.Sc. (Chemistry) degree at South Gujarat University, Post B.Sc. B.Sc. (Technology) in Textile Chemistry, M.Sc. (Technology) in Textile Chemistry and his doctorate at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat, India and is currently working as Associate Professor at Department of Textile Chemistry, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara- 390001, Gujarat, India.
Serves as Editorial Board Member for two reputed journals and is member of ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education), TAI (Textile Association of India).
Published extensively on extraction and application of natural dyes to textiles; Developing eco-friendly and sustainable techniques in textile wet processing; Synthesis of nano-particles and polymeric materials by chemical and bio-synthesis methods, their application for the development of high-performance composite materials for technical and biomedical applications.
