Investigating the role of subliminal advertising on the buying behavior of young Indian consumers K. Bharath, Roshni Raval, Jigar Nagvadia, Rakesh Sarvaiya, Pratima Shukla, Ravi Rajai Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 Subliminal advertising is the display of signals below the awareness level of conscious perception, with the ability to influence people’s attitudes and actions beyond their understanding. The purpose of this study is to look at the impact of subliminal advertising influence the spending habits of young Indian customers. This study’s findings offer important insights into the impact of subliminal advertising on buyer behavior among young Indians. The findings show that encountering subliminal marketing has a considerable impact on respondents’ brand awareness and recall. Furthermore, subliminal advertising was found to have a considerable influence on consumer buying habits, resulting in an increased possibility of acquiring items or services mentioned in subliminal commercials.
