Dr. Anjali completed her M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Mathematics with specialization in Linear Algebra and Bicomplex Linear Algebra. She is working as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Mangalayatan University.

Her research focuses on bicomplex matrices, matrix representation of linear transformations on bicomplex spaces, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of bicomplex linear operators, and idempotent and nilpotent operators in bicomplex spaces. She has also worked extensively on conjugates, idempotent representation, and rank theory of bicomplex matrices. She is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and engineering mathematics, especially Linear Algebra, Matrices, Complex Numbers, and related subjects. Her academic objective is to contribute to higher education through teaching, research, and innovative mathematical applications.

  • Matrix representations of linear transformations on bicomplex space

    An algebraic investigation on bicomplex numbers is carried out here. Particularly matrices and linear maps defined on them are discussed. A new kind of cartesian product, referred to as an idempotent product, is introduced and studied. The elements of this space are linear maps of a special form. These linear maps are examined with respect to usual notions like kernel, range, and singularity. Their matrix representation is also discussed.
